Another tear fell on Kelsey's lap. She didn't know why she was crying. She was tired of crying. She hated being sad. Ryan opened the closet to find her sitting there. She was sitting Indian style in the janitor's closet.

"Here you are." He said.

"Here I am." She replied wiping away yet another tear.

"Kelsey, I'm sorry. Things can suck. Life's like that."

"I know, but why does it always have to be me?"

She had just broken up with Jason, her musical wasn't chosen for the spring musical, her parents were getting a divorce, and she had just run out of the gym after Mary O'Neal's composition was chosen over hers. Ryan closed the door. She couldn't see anything, but she could feel him sit down next to her. She liked the way he smelt.

"I just don't see the point of living." She said sadly.

"I do." He said. "If you weren't here, I wouldn't get to see your face everyday."

She looked at the outline of his face. She could feel those feelings she had for Ryan jumping out of her skin. She was surprised she couldn't hear her heart beating. Her breath went faster and faster.

Ryan moved his head towards hers, and she moved her's towards his. She felt her lips touch his. They were kissing. There was a point to life. We get thrown crappy things some times, but we have to go through those hard obstacles and try to make the best of them, while being thankful for those things that just get tossed at us with care and love. Kelsey realized just that, sitting there in that janitors' closet with the one guys who had so much love that it made it easier for her to get through the hardships.

just a little thing i thought of...what'd you think???
