A 4-year-old Percy Jackson stared defiantly at the orange mush called pumpkin that sat on his plate. "No!" He yelled, and he pushed the plate away from him.

Sally Jackson, Percy's mother, sighed tiredly. Percy really did take a lot of work to look after. "Come on Percy, It's tasty!" She ate a forkful of her own pumpkin. "See?" She pushed the plate back in front of him.

"No!" He cried. "No Pumpkin!" Sally's eye twitched. Even if Percy was only 4 he still created a lot of chaos for his mother.

Sally sighed and gave in. "Fine, put it in the bin."

Percy nodded happily and quickly flicked the orange mush off his plate and into the bin.

"Come on Percy, let's go to the park." Sally said as she pinched her forehead. She had a feeling that this headache wouldn't be the only one.

The next evening Percy and Sally sat at their small kitchen table eating dinner. Percy happily gobbled down all his food but froze when he saw that the only thing left on his plate was a dark blue mush. "Momma," he began as he bit his lip in a way that would have most female screaming 'cute!'.

"What is this?" He asked as he poked at it with his fork.

"That's special blue food sweaty. When the food is blue it makes it taste better!" She exclaimed happily, although her eyes were begging Percy to believe her. "That is blue Pumpkin." Sally the super mom pointed at her own plate, "your's is special because its blue! Mine is orange."

Percy nodded and quickly devoured his food, afterwards he decided he wanted all of his food to be blue and quickly told his mother so.

"Great, I'm going to need a lot of blue food dye." Sally muttered as Percy left the room.
