"Zee-vah!" Tony slipped into the elevator.
"What is it?" She said politely.
Tony twiddled his thumbs and glanced up at the ceiling of the elevator. Then he leaned over and flipped the switch.
"Tony…." Ziva's voice lowered. "Tell me or I will show you one of the 11 ways I can kill you with my cell phone."
"That!"
"What?"
"You've changed. That was the first time in weeks that you've threatened me."
Ziva looked slightly hurt but she shrugged it off. "What else, Tony?"
"Your hair." Tony said curtly. "It's always straight and I dunno… fancy like."
"Is that all, Tony?"
"No. You try to hard to be all proper American. People loved you when you had your accent." Ziva raised an eyebrow.
"Anything else?"
"Oh, you don't use idioms anymore, you don't carry extra guns or knifes. I guess it's just me, but I preferred that Ziva."
Ziva glared at him. The staring contest was broken by Tony's phone ringing. "DiNozzo!" He chirped.
Ziva could hear an echo of Gibbs voice through the phone. "DiNozzo. Start the elevator now!"
"Oh, 'course boss." Tony flipped the switch on the elevator. The rest of the ride was silent. Tony didn't speak until the doors slid open. "And you don't use your contacts anymore." Then he sprinted for the exit.
Ziva had spent all night thinking about what Tony had said. And she had made her decision.
She smiled when she felt Tony and Gibbs walk in. Gibbs nodded and smiled slightly as he walked to his desk. Tony just gaped.
"Whoa…" His mouth sagged.
"You like, Tony?" Her more heavily accented voice was back and she was speaking more fluidly, not forced like she did when she spoke with an American accent.
"Uh huh." Ziva stood up and walked over to Tony's desk.
"I'm going for coffee." Gibbs mumbled.
"Wow. Ziva. Wow." He glanced at her. She was back in her normal cargo pants and boots. Then he noticed the outline of multiple knifes and guns. He gulped.
Ziva grinned devilishly. Then she sauntered back to her desk.
McGee stumbled in tiredly a few minutes later. He noticed Tony wide grin. "What did you do this time?" He asked tiredly.
"Nothing. Life is just back to normal."
A/N: Just something I thought of after a conversation concerning the fact that Ziva doesn't use her sources/ contacts anymore. Review!
