FULL SUMMARY: When he said my name, I knew this had to be something serious. I just had three rules I had to follow- Don't fall for the enemy. Don't help the enemy. And don't let your guard down. I had to be the enemy to the good, and a friend to the bad. And it all started when he said my name.

Prologue:

"Ms. Sawng Monroe, correct?"

My head snapped upwards as I heard my name. My golden eyes met that of an elder wizards blue ones.

I knew instantly that this was the start of an interview.

I rose quickly from the chair I occupied in the back corner of the Leaky Cauldron that was the passage way between Muggle London and the Wizarding World.

"Yes," I nodded softly, "And you would be?"

"Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry," he introduced.

I went rigid. The great Wizard, Albus Dumbledore, was standing before me.

"Who told you about me?" I asked, almost in a too demanding of a voice.

"Alastor Moody," he informed me. Blast my cousin. "He says you are the best."

"I am American, though, and not English," I informed him, "Whatever job it is you wish me to do may not be able to be preformed by an American. I cannot pretend to be English."

"There is no need for you to pretend to be English," he said and I knew there was a 'but' to follow. "Although I do wish you to pretend to be a student at my school. I would like to know which students in a certain house... where their alliance lie. Are they for Lord Voldemort, or not?"

"How do you expect them to trust me?" I asked him.

"You must become one of them."

I looked around the Leaky Cauldron, it was completely empty. When had it vacated?

"I'll do it," I answered him, "I just have one request."

"What is it?"

"I get all rights to leave Hogwarts when I need to. I have other jobs that I do too," I explained, "If I can have that freedom, then this can work out. Also, I will not be paying for my school supplies. I technically graduated last year and passed my N.E.W.T.'s. My books are all different from your books for Hogwarts. I am sure of that."

"Everything will be paid for," Albus Dumbledore assured me with a twinkle in his eyes.

"If you wish for this to fully work, no one of the staff should know that I am under cover. They shall all think of me as a student."

"As I had planned."

"So, when does school start?"

"September 1st. Here is your ticket for the Hogwarts Express," he handed me a folder, "All information is inside of there. I trust you will do well, Ms. Monroe."

"I trust I will too," I mumbled to myself as I opened the folder.

"Good evening," he said before turning and leaving the Leaky Cauldron. I nodded my own farewell before flipping through the pages.

I had three rules I had to follow. I set them myself:
1) Never fall for the enemy.
2) Never help the enemy.
3) Never let your guard down.
