3000 years ago there was young boy around the age of 5. His parents were brutally murdered right in front of his very eyes by creatures that had teeth as sharp as blades and nails as strong as iron. There plated armour and super natural strength made them so strong, they were unbeatable. The creatures destroyed the entire planet, leaving it in ruins. Trails of thick blood and rotting flesh following these monsters where ever they went. These creatures went by the name of Noth Eaters. The planet, on the other hand, went by the name of Glasgol.

The poor young boy, who watched his parent's horrible death, happened to be the prince of the small planet. The boy was very talented, one of the most talented in all the lands with the ability to control the elements and create them from nothing to having the skills of the slayer; everyone thought he was destined for greatness. Unfortunately, the people quickly assumed that when the young boy reached 5 and the war started that he was destined to die like the rest of them. Someone, however, thought otherwise.

A man by the man of John Garcia travelled through space for fun and pleasure of seeing the many countries. He was one of the lucky few to be able to do this. He had all the money in the world and nobody could tell him otherwise. So, when he found the burning planet he just had to investigate. Landing on a part that wasn't completely taken over by flames he looked for survivors. After a few hours and near giving up before he choked to death he found a survivor. He found the young boy.

Taking the boy quickly without a second thought he brought them both back to his ship and left, just in time. The planet began to shake and grumble before crumbling from the heat. John was relieved as he looked at the shaking boy staring at him with wide, scared eyes. John decided to lie to everyone when he returned back to Earth, no one had found a planet with aliens yet and he wasn't going to share the young boy with any one.

The time he returned he just told everyone the young boy was his son, Antonio Garcia. It was a lie everyone believed. No one wanted to doubt a man who could make you disappear without a trace.

John was pleased with the results of things and raised Antonio. Antonio soon met Jayden Shiba and they both became good friends, fast. John was angered by the budding friendship and did what he was best at, investigated. What he found made him hit the roof. Jayden Shiba was 'meant' to be the next red ranger. John moved away from Jayden, as far as he could. He didn't want Antonio around the young man, especially when he came into his red ranger abilities; he was bound to find out at some point.

The move didn't go as planned. Antonio wasn't just angry when he found out John was moving them, he was furious. His fury got the most of him and he created a breath taking earth quake. That's when John found out. John found out about Antonio's powers.

Instead of treating the young boy as a son, he treated him as a science experiment from then on. Not only did he have an alien, he had an alien with super powers. John hired a few trusted friends to run the experiments and to find out whether the powers Antonio has could be transferred. The results were all the same, a fail. Antonio quickly reached 10 and that's when all hell broke loose. He had finally got a handle of his powers and broke free. Free from the prison he had been forced to stay in for all those years. He didn't want anyone to find him, to mistreat him again, to force him to do things he didn't want to do. He burnt the data. He burnt the experiments. He destroyed the building and ran; making sure John Garcia would never find him.

For the next 5 years he lived on the streets and bounced around from city to villages or towns until he mastered all his powers, while learning a lot more about survival in all weather and conditions. Antonio knew he was different from the rest; it was so obvious to him even if the others are oblivious to the fact. It didn't concern Antonio all that much, the less people that knew the better.

So, when Antonio created the gold ranger morpher and returned to the Samurai's at the age of 19 to become a ranger, just like he promised to Jayden, he didn't tell them he was an Alien.

"Antonio?" Jayden whispered into the cold bedroom, the winter air seeping through the open window on the other side of the room that neither could be bothered to close. Antonio rolled over in the bed; eyes still closed, and rested his head on Jayden's chest. Breathing in the familiar scent he snuggled deeper into the man trying to warm himself up.

"Yeah" Antonio managed to get out of his mouth as the land of the unconscious threatened to take him. He felt Jayden place a soft kiss to the top of Antonio's hair and wrap his strong arms around his body.

"Just making sure you were still here," Jayden whispered, his eyes suddenly getting heavy. Antonio knew that the one thing Jayden was afraid of was losing a loved one, a team mate, a friend and needed reassuring that they were still here. Even if half the time, or well, more accurately most of the time, Jayden didn't even realise it himself.

"You know I'll never leave you." Antonio whispered softly, knowing that the words were nothing but the truth. He didn't even think he could leave the man he had become physically attached to. Finally, emptying his mind he allowed himself to slip into a dreamless sleep.

When the morning came and filled the room with golden sun beams Antonio groaned, rubbing the sleep out his eyes with one hand and reaching out to Jayden with the other. Hand patting the bed for a few seconds before realising that Jayden was gone. Antonio doesn't even know why he bothers anymore, Jayden's never there in the morning, he liked to dedicate his time to his training and Antonio didn't think he was going to break that routine for anyone, not even Antonio.

After 30 minutes of convincing himself to get out of bed he finally pushed the covers off and shivered at the sudden cold breeze. Regretting that the moment he had done it Antonio dived across the room and into the shower. "God that's cold!" Antonio exclaimed when he stepped in too soon, he had the perfect solution. Placing his hands on the pipes Antonio boiled the water and allowed the now heated water to wash off the rest of the sleep from his body.

It felt good; he would never take advantage of water, it never cessed to amaze him. Wrapping a towel around his waist Antonio pulled on his clothes and quickly towelled dried his hair before stepping out the door and heading down the stairs. He could feel the others in the kitchen, he didn't know how to explain it, but it was like all these feelings were roaming around his body telling him what the others were feeling.

Entering the kitchen he found the Samurai eating their morning porridge, or in Mike's case sneaking it into Emily's bowl and stuffing cookies into his mouth. The Samurai mumbled a good morning before getting back to what they were doing, they no longer stared for longer than necessary when they saw Antonio because they had finally gotten used to the fact that Antonio spent most his time in the Shiba house now. He spent more time there since he and Jayden got together, spending nearly all their time together. Only being separated when Jayden trained or when Antonio went fishing.

Falling into his chair Antonio let his head drop to the table with a sigh leaving his lips. His head was pounding now he was closer to the individuals who were giving of so many emotions at once. This new ability, he assumed, was given him non-stop headaches and was probably going to be the death of him, death from being over emotional, what a great way to die. "You okay Antonio?" Mike asked around a mouthful of cookies, Antonio pulled his head of the table and looked at Mike with a pained expression.

"Yeah, yeah, I'll be fine, just a headache." Antonio reassured and slid of the chair giving a small kiss on the cheek to Emily and Mia he walked out of the kitchen towards the patio doors, the doors were slightly open. Pushing them open Antonio winced at the brightness of the day already, kind of surprising since it was winter, and walked out towards Jayden, "Morning!" Antonio called over the movements of Jayden's body through the thick air.

When Antonio got no reply he frowned stepping closer he dodged the movement that would have hit him and started to spar with the man. Jayden fell into the spar quick and easy, the two stayed sparing for about 10 minutes before Jayden pulled away and forced a smile. Turning around Jayden began to practice on his own once again and Antonio just mumbled under his breathe. Jayden had been so distracted lately, Antonio had no idea why. He was training a lot more lately and pushing himself to exhaustion.

Giving up, Antonio sighed and turned around moving back towards the door he heard the movements from behind him stop suddenly. "Where are you going?" Jayden asked, Antonio looked over his shoulder and glared at the man for a couple of seconds, then simply walked through the open doors. Antonio couldn't believe he asked where he was going, did Jayden expect that Antonio would just stand around and watch while Jayden spared?

Antonio nearly stormed through the house, hand tightening around the door handle when a hand wrapped around his upper arm. Looking over his shoulder he found Jayden looking at him with a guilty expression. "Wait, Antonio, let me explain." Antonio tried to nod his head, wanting answers when his head began to swim. There were so many emotions. The emotions were coming from everywhere and everyone; guilt, love, confusion, fear, sadness, anger.

Stumbling Antonio lost his balance and went to fall but Jayden caught him. Pulling him tightly against his chest, he whispered "What's wrong Toni?" Panic lacing his voice. Antonio looked up through blurred eyes noticing Jayden looking down at him, searching his face for injuries or any sign of an illness.

"I'm so confused," Antonio mumbled, words slightly slurred with one another as they came out of his mouth. "I just… I just can't take it anymore!"

"Can't take what?" Jayden asked pulling back slightly; leading them into the living room so the younger man could sit down.

"Emotions… There not mine but I can feel them, everywhere, all the time. I just can't take it anymore!" Antonio allowed Jayden to sit him on the soft 3 seater sofa and dropped his head into his hands. Fingers rubbing his temple Antonio looked up through thick eye lashes at Jayden who was standing over him looking worried.

"Wait here, I'll be gone for just a few seconds, I'm going to get Ji." Jayden spoke placing another soft kiss onto the top of Antonio's head before rushing out of the room, barely managing to dodge the coffee table with his baby toe. Antonio watched as Jayden left, eyes beginning to focus once again he sat up straight and watched Jayden walk back into the room. Ji looked at Antonio in concern. Antonio tried to look like he wasn't nervous but by the look in Ji's eyes Antonio just knows Jayden told him what happened by the front door.

"Antonio, with the description Jayden has given me about what happened; it sounds a lot like empathy." Ji explained, Antonio nodded his head and except the disappointed look of his face. Empathy was said to be a very hard ability to control.

"What's empathy?" Jayden asked taking a seat on the sofa, snaking his arm around Antonio's waist he played with the bottom of Antonio's t-shirt. His nerves were radiating from his body in fear of Antonio being in danger.

"It's a super natural ability said to be granted specific people around the world most individuals only ever manage to control a minor part of it, the part to channel other people's emotions and read them. However, on rare occasions it is possible to be able to channel other people's abilities and use them against anyone in the surrounding area." Jo paused the wheels in his brain turning, "There has to be a certain space between them, no one knows the specific length or whether it depends on the individual but what scientists has agreed upon is that the further away a person is weaker the emotions will get."

"Antonio has this ability all of a sudden is that possible, for humans to get it like that?" Jayden questioned, Antonio looked up between the two.

"It's not unheard of but empathy tends to come after a near death experience." Ji replied, obviously confused and trying to work out how Antonio could have got the ability just like that.

"I'm not from Earth," Antonio whispered softly, he felt Jayden's hand still and shock run through his veins. Eyes widening as he looked at Antonio. Ji was in a similar state of mind as Jayde, shocked and slightly confused. Antonio continued; "I'm from a planet called Glasgol, it was a beautiful planet full of what humans call 'super natural beings'. We look just like you do but we are gifted with abilities many humans can't access or don't have."

"Why are you here and not on your planet?" Ji asked instead of Jayden, Ji thought Jayden was too busy thinking about the 'I'm not from Earth' statement instead of anything else Antonio has said.

"When I was five my planet was attack by creatures called Noth Eaters, they killed everyone and everything. The only reason I'm alive is because John Garcia landed on my Glasgol and saved me." Antonio took a deep breath and looked through watery eyes, "I was too young at the time to use my abilities I had no choice but to try and escape the Noth Eaters and flames that were burning everything."

"How did John get away with it?" Jayden asked laying a comforting kiss on Antonio's temple, Antonio smiled at him moving his fingers so they were tightly intertwined with Jayden's he managed to continue telling his story.

"He was travelling space for 6 years before he finally arrived back to Earth. He just told everyone that I was his son and my mother was one of the pilots that died of a heart attack. It was the perfect lie."

"Didn't anyone question him? I mean the other crew members must have said something!" Jayden replied looking at his boyfriend's said expression.

"Money can make anyone do anything." Antonio replied sadly, remembering his time in the labs.

"I'm so sorry," Jayden whispered.

"It's okay; I met you soon after I returned. John moves us away when he found out about you becoming the next red Samurai. Didn't like the idea I guess because the next thing I know we have our stuff packed and he's moving us half way across the world." Antonio inhaled, deciding he will just let it all out. "I caused an earth quake soon after he told me that is when he found out. He hired his trusted friends and used me as a science experiment. I escaped when I was 10. I didn't want anything to do with that place so I started the fire and made sure all the records were gone."

"I heard about that fire," Jayden said looking at Ji with confirmation. Ji nodded his head and finished what Jayden was going to say.

"No-one knew what they were working on. Everyone was too scared to say anything. That of course drew more attention and gained interest but after 3 years of trying to get them to speak they gave up."

"Everything has been so peaceful, as side from the Nighlok but we can control them." Antonio waves his hand around in the air, gesturing as he pointed to his "this damn empathy is driving me crazy!" Sighing in anger he curled his fist into a ball and placed it back onto his lap.

"We'll help you fix this, Antonio, I promise!" Jayden whispered; Antonio nodded his head hope filling his eyes at the idea of controlling this ability as well as the others. Antonio just had to try and stay positive. If he could master all his other abilities on his own, he could master his ability with the help of his boyfriend, his team and a father-like figure.

"Thank you," Antonio replied with a smile, Jayden smiled back before looking over his shoulder at Ji.

"Can you inform the others in what's going on?" Jayden asked; Antonio nodded his head supporting the idea. He knew Emily and Mia would be happy for him, Mike would probably just find it cool and something out of one of his video games he plays, but Kevin. Antonio wasn't sure how Kevin would react.

"Yeah, you too should take the rest of the day off; we have training sessions starting tomorrow." Ji informed the two, Antonio nodded pleased while Jayden looked a little sceptical about the idea of taking a day off.

"Okay," Jayden finally agreed the battle within his head still hadn't ended but the other Avengers needed to be informed and he knew Antonio could probably feel the inner battle he was having.

"Are you okay with all this?" Antonio asked, moving his other hand to run down the side of Jayden's face. Jayden looked at Antonio a small smile threatening to reveal itself on his face.

"Yeah, I'm just a little shocked, that's all." Jayden admitted, leaning into Antonio's touch.

"Come on we should head to our room, it's more private their!" Antonio smiled and made sure their hands were firmly connected before tele-porting to their shared room. Jayden's eyes widened comically, and Antonio had to fight to keep the laughter within him.

"That was… Wow" Jayden stumbled so he was sitting on the edge of the bed, one hand running through his hair. Antonio couldn't help but smile at how sweet he looked. He felt safe here. He felt safe in this room surrounded by what little belongings Jayden has, and of course Jayden himself. Grinning, Antonio sat on the bed next to Jayden, hand raising he tilted Jayden's face closer to him. Pressing their lips together he felt Jayden run his tongue along Antonio's lower lip, asking for entrance. Antonio granted him that without second thought bringing the two down so they were laid against the soft duvet and cushions filling the bed. Jayden's body was leaning ever so lightly over Antonio's.

An: Cyber cookies for the person who can guess who or what Jayden was referring to when he said "Wait, Antonio, let me explain." To be honest I hoped I would have rewritten the entire story today but it turned out to take me longer to rewrite one chapter then I thought. It was honestly terrible. If there is any more mistakes in the story let me know, pretty please, so I can fix them.
