Dipper Pines shook a little when his twin sister Mabel was shaking in her seat. He looked over at the girl, who was positively ecstatic.

"Mabel, can you keep it down or at least stop shaking. It'll be another hour or so till we arrive." Dipper mumbled. His cheek soon was poked by said twin.

"Come on Broseph, you know we're ten minutes away from Gravity Falls Academy! We begged our parents and worked hard on our exams to win the scouts and their approval. Think about it: The Pines Twins taking places next to the elites oh forget that we get to spend our first year of high school away from home! And even though mom and dad won't be with us it's going to be great." Mabel said.

Dipper gave a small laugh to Mabel's happiness. It was true that Gravity Falls Academy was a place for the Elites. The Northwest and Gleeful's were top dogs, but Mabel keeps on insisting that one day the Pines name will join. Maybe her optimistic nature gets the best of her or maybe the thought of having powerful people as our rivals, possibly friends excited her, but who knows. Their neighbors, Candy and Grenda, sent letters explaining all the exciting adventures they had over there. Dipper's former crush Wendy, Tambry and their group of friends also joined the ranks of the Academy. He missed them, but like Mabel received letters about Gravity Falls Academy. They talked about the people, education, and clubs.

But what caught Dipper's eye was the Dueling Clubs over there. For many years he watched duelers from around the world compete with each in a similar way to Pokemon or Yugi-Oh. Each player can summon a powerful monster that's in sync with them, but with a few twists. It's been known for years that to duel you must first have a signature creature and you must be mentally prepared. You see the audience watches the monsters fight while the duelers battle each other in a mental duel.

During a mental duel, the duelists must be able to repel their invaders from reading their mind and finding out the strategy. It can be dangerous to a point where many people fell into comas and even permanent brain damage. Dipper was shaken by that, but was reassured by his best friend Tambry told him not to worry. That only happened for people that go beyond the rules and regulations. In other words stay behind the safe zone. Another was that if the monster suffered damage so did the duelist. It sounded dangerous and it actually hospitalized many players in the past. Luckily they adjusted it to where if the pain becomes too much they can shut off the pain receivers, however only in desperate needs and only by the referee.

The young 14 year old began thinking of what lies in store for them until Mabel tapped his shoulder and Dipper looked at her.

"Guess where we arrived." she said. Dipper quickly looked over his shoulder and through the window the massive buildings of Gravity Falls Academy. The Twins pressed their faces against the window and saw the luxuries stores, buildings, and the woods. Even with scientific advancement running the world, Gravity Falls, Oregon was one of the few hundred places in the world that has kept their natural environments from being cleared. Dipper and Mabel's backyard was the closest to nature so this was new. The bus stopped and opened the doors.

"Alright I hope you're ready Mabel. We're finally here." Dipper said as he lightly punched the palm of his hands. Mabel nodded and adjusted her sweater. The two grabbed their bags and walked off the bus. Before them stood a crowd of people ready to enter the doors. The doors opened and everyone began flooding in. Dipper and Mabel looked at each other before smiling and running together.

Light blinded the Pines as they entered the massive building. Dipper wiped his eyes before focusing around him. Everything was massive and both couldn't hold in their excitement anymore. They looked for their names and found them at the Hand 3 sector. Dipper and Mabel were told to wait for their guide to come and explore only this hall.

The two began running around everywhere, seeing the many sights, and picking up papers that could be important. Dipper had several pieces of paper on him and when he saw Mabel's pile he tried not laughing. She was fumbling with the papers, but looked at Dipper, who was trying not to laugh.

Mabel walked over to him and dropped all the papers in his open hands. The sudden weight made Dipper drop the load. Mabel laughed and suddenly bumped into a blond girl.

"Hey watch it loser. There's important people, yours truly, that needs to leave this loser fest." She said. Mabel stepped back near Dipper and both saw the girl. She had a lavender jacket on with a dark purple shirt to go along with it. On her wrist was a tattoo of a Llama and her blond hair was cleanly combed. She was very beautiful.

Dipper didn't let that distract him. "Hey you should watch it. Why do you think you can pick on my sister? You think you're a queen or something?" The girl just brushed a strand of hair and gave him an arrogant look while her hand touched her tattoo.

"I see. You're new here. I'll be nice and tell you who I am. The name's Northwest. Pacific Northwest. Who are you two?" Dipper's eyes slightly widened before narrowing.

"The names Dipper Pines."

"And I'm Mabel!"

Pacifica laughed and tried catching her breath. The two were more confused than insulted and waited till she was done. "Pines! Oh sorry, I'm so sorry for you." She chuckled. Dipper's eyebrows furrowed as he got a bit frustrated.

"What do you mean you're sorry?" Pacifica tried to stop before pulling out a card. "If you haven't notice my tatto, but this helps summon my creature when I take part in the Duel Clubs tournaments and training. And your last name reminds me of the old man Stanford Pines." Pacifica sneered.

"This is a card to Dueling Club's Hand 3 team. The weakest team consisting of a group of teens and a desperate old man. But I don't blame those guys since only the best can join Hand 2 and the best of the best join Hand 1. Better learn your place. Anyways I got more important things to do so I hope i never see you again. You can keep the card Pines." She said. Dipper took the card before shooting her a look and saw their friends. inside the picture Candy, Grenda, Wendy, Robbie, Lee, Nate, Thompson, and Tambry along with a man that fit the description of their Great Uncle Stanford Pines. They spent a summer with Stan and deemed him the greatest Grunkle ever. He used to live in a shack, but moved to Gravity Falls after losing his home.

"Mabel look! Grunkle Stan works here and everyone's with them!" Dipper said. Mabel quickly took the card and began scanning the picture itself.

"Oh my god you're right!" Mabel said. Two hands grabbed them both and forced them to turn around. The two then faced the excited expression of a wild redhead.

Both of their eyes widend to see the red head wearing a green uniform jacket covering a black shirt. Her hair was autumn red and her wrist carried a tattoo of Ice. Before them stood 17 year old Wendy Corduroy, former master prankster at Piedmont and a legend at the school.

"You guys are here! You weren't joking!" Before they could talk, Wendy picked them both up, squeezed them within her arms, and was swinging them around. Mabel was laughing with Wendy while Dipper was trying to breathe.

She then put the two down and the twins were trying to catch their breath. Dipper rubbed his arms and Mabel was trying to get her breath back.

"Jeez, Wendy I guess you managed to get some man strength for the past 3 years." Dipper laughed until Wendy punched him in the arm.

"Well it is something I'm good at. Now how's your womanly legs doing?" Wendy retorted. Dipper's face went red and Mabel patted her brother's back.

Mabel tried calming him down only for a mixture of words to take over. Wendy tried listening and only heard. "Don't worry Dipper it was only once at the pool. I'm sure Wendy doesn't mean it." And Dipper trying to defend himself. "It was her fault and it's not womanly!" Wendy grabbed the top of their heads. Even though they've grown from Piedmont; Wendy still stood a good couple inches above them.

"Now, now I'm just teasing you, Dipper." Wendy said and Dipper sighed. "I'm sure Tambry would love to see you guys again especially you Dipper afterall next to me you're her best friend." She winked. Dipper nodded easily excited to reunite with everyone. "We stopped talking 7 months ago and now we're going to have the whole group together again. The Pines have returned." Wendy said.

"Yeah! I can't wait to see Candy and Grenda again. They may have gotten here a year early, but now their duo will become our trio and I'm going to so much here!" Mabel said. Wendy nodded and picked up some of their bags.

Wendy began showing them the school. It had the obvious things a school would have. Dormitories, cafeteria buffet, holographic classes, and a Monster Battle arena that cost over $500,000. You know normal stuff every multi billion dollar academy would have. Soon they arrived at a lavish building near the edge of the woods. The trio opened the doors and they saw the place was massive and well equipped. With a TV, fully stocked kitchen, and an overall clean living arrangements.

"Okay Wendy. What did you do with the guys?" Dipper asked.

"What are you talking about?" Wendy said. They walked in and inspected the room.

"Yeah, you don't expect us to believe they've kept this place clean for over 5 minutes. Remember at the 4th of July 3 years ago. They destroyed our house. With a whip cream can, several rolls of duct tape, and a firecracker. Do you really expect us to believe this place was kept clean with those guys?" Mabel said.

Wendy laughed. "Tambry was left in charge. By the way Stan is-" She said until a loud burp was heard. Everyone quickly darted their eyes towards the source and an old man in a wife beater and striped boxers came into the picture.

"Wendy, have you picked up the two new people?" Stan gurgled as he walked past the kids. Wendy didn't say a word and they watched Stan take out a Pitt Cola. When he turned around his eyes widened and he spit out his soda all over the floor.

Dipper remembered being at the wrong end at one of those things. "Now that was spitake Grunkle Stan." Mabel said impressed, what can she say? Years of doing spitakes and yet Stan still trumps her in it. Stan was still staring at them before grabbing them both and putting them in headlocks.

"You knuckleheads! I've got words for you." He said. The Pines twins tried wrestling out of his grip and Stan soon let them go. Mabel and Dipper laughed as Stan never really changed. 87 years old and still fighting like he's 40. Time's been kind to him.

"2 years and only 3 calls. I thought you wanted to keep in contact. Heck even Soos was getting worried that you forgot about us." Stan said.

Mabel's mind snapped to the realization of what happened to the handyman. "Where is Soos? Wendy told me he lives here, but didn't explain anything else."

"Right. Well Soos is no longer the Handyman of the Enigma Hut. He's now the owner of the Enigma Hut! Turns out I could still make a living here with my tourist trap here as well. There's a small house next to us and I've been moving some attractions there. I think I'll call it the Mystery Shack. With this and the little of patches of the woods explored I can easily scam gullible tourists like, um, ah. Wendy, what's something that easily manipulates you into spending all your money and getting little or frustrating rewards?"

"EA Games."

"Right like EA Games. Personal heroes." Stan said, wiping a tear away. Dipper shook his head before the door opened. In came a girl Dipper's height. She had her purple and pink hair tucked in a white and blue Pine Tree hat. Her glasses were loose on her face while in one of her hands held a 12 pack of Pitt Cola with a tattoo of a purple phoenix on her wrist and the other had a smartphone in it.

"Hey Stan, I got those extra cans of Pitt Cola. The guys ditched me and I had to drive the cart myself. Besides since those two new students are coming here and possibly two guys tell them not to hit on m-" Tambry said until she saw Dipper and Mabel standing before her.

"Well you're partially right. It's one guy, but don't worry I won't hit on you." Dipper said. Tambry dropped the soda and Dipper looked ready to run until he found himself hugged by the girl. Mabel gave a sly whistle which made Dipper's blush grow even more crazy.

"You moron! 7 months and the last thing you send is a good luck wish. To think we were close. I should beat the crap out of you." Tambry said as she smacked Dipper in the arm. Dipper nervously laughs and saw how Tambry changed. She changed a lot over the year with her clothes as she more dark blue hoodies and with her wearing less makeup Dipper could see a more natural face. Another thing was that she stopped wearing makeup after Dipper comforted her after a douche ex dumped her. After being his friend for over 6 years the two remained closer than ever. Of course this doesn't stop Tambry from chewing him out.

Tambry was still yelling at him and Dipper kept trying to calm her down. Stan, Wendy, and Mabel tried stopping her, but Tambry was still yelling at him.

Unknown to the two of them, Lee, Nate, and Robbie entered. Tambry was still enraged at Dipper, so the two didn't notice them, but Mabel did. Before the guys could say anything they were tackled by the hyper active girl.

"Whoa, whose this babe?" Nate said. Mabel giggled and smacked his chest.

"Do you really think you forgot about me guys? I'm ashamed of you." Mabel says.

"Mabel? I can't believe your here. To think you were lying to us about coming here. Shame on us for not believing you." Robbie and Lee said.

The guys get up and Mabel scans over their latest appearance. Nate had his arms covered in black sleeves with a t-shirt over it and ripped jeans. His tattoo had a picture of a shark. She saw Lee with shorter hair in a beanie and a jogging shirt and sweat pants. Looking at his left wrist, she saw a golden lion there. Finally at Robbie. He was wearing a black uniform shirt and blue jeans to go with it. He still had the fingerless gloves, but one of his sleeves were rolled up to show a stitched heart.

Mabel whistled as she saw them. "Dang, 2 years and you guys changed so much. You're almost complete strangers." She said with a mocking tone in her voice.

"Of course not! We're still those Knuckle Heads that you know and love." Robbie said. Mabel laughed and backed up.

"I wouldn't say love. More like tolerate."

"Dang it! You still have that smart mouth on you. You know your still that obnoxious kid that used to ask us out on dates!" Lee said.

Mabel's eyes widened in horror as she did not want to remember that. She pushed back the memories she actually did ask them out.

"Gross, gross, gross, gross! I'd rather kiss Wendy than do that!" She said. The boys laughed and went over to Dipper. The boy was still being angrily lashed out by Tambry. Dipper saw the guys heading over to him and out his finger on her lips.

"How about we finish this, um conversation, later. I mean no disrespect, but-" He said until something landed on his head. Dipper felt the top of his head and felt the rough yet somehow familiar patches of his old hat. He took it off and saw Tambry without the hat on. She pushed her glasses up and walked away.

"Your right we'll continue this later. I hope you don't mind me returning your gift for awhile now." She said. Dipper smiled and tucked the hat closer. Tambry smiled and went to talk to Mabel. The guys whistled when they saw Dipper.

"So wearing thin blue sweaters and the same peach colored shirt. You haven't changed at all." Robbie said.

"I don't know maybe, but you haven't I mean you have something on you face. It's like all over here." Dipper said as he circled Robbie's face. Nate and Lee gave 'oohs' as Robbie felt the burn.

"You take that back! You, Babba listening, pillow kissing, no chest haired, son of a bitch!" Robbie said. Dipper laughed at the insult even when Robbie held his collar.

Lee and Nate were glad the two shared a more cooled relationship. At Piedmont they would almost be fist fighting if they weren't stopped for their love of Wendy. After breaking them up, the animosity grew between the two until Dipper helped Robbie win Wendy back after realizing how happy the two were together. Ever since then they tried becoming friends and succeeded. The two were close like brothers and since his crush on Wendy faded it was all good.

Now the two casual insulted each other and usually annoy the others with their antics. Dipper was happy and Robbie couldn't have found a better way.

Meanwhile the girls were outside. Mabel was sitting down on the grass and pulled out a granola bar.

"Hey wait a minute! Where's Candy and Grenda? I haven't seen them in forever. Are they here?" Mabel said. She pulled out the photo and pointed at them.

"Oh yeah they're here. Unfortunately they left for a trip to the Levitation Floats Academy, taking part of a tournament there. We could only send two and those two are the most dangerous tag team we have. They'll be gone for at least another 2 weeks. Hand 3, 2, and 1 are all about the Dueling Club. In fact it's almost a requirement to join us." Tambry said.

"Really? Man, hoped to see them. The last time we saw each other was on Skype. 3 months ago. Whatever I waited this long. Two more weeks won't damper my happiness. Let's change the subject, like how did you guys get those sweet tattoos." Mabel said.

Wendy passed Mabel a juice and showed her the tattoo. "These signify we're registered fighters. After passing several test we have our signature type like me Ice or Tambry Metal/Electricity. We use these to summon the monsters and connect ourselves to our opponent's mind. But we're getting ahead of ourselves. Let's not talk about that right now. We actually had plans to take the newbies aka you two out for a stroll on the woods tomorrow since it's Saturday."

Tambry nodded and laid down. "It's going to be great. Me and Dipper can continue our video game challenges and waste the night away on our computers." She said.

Mabel giggled. "Jeez, you must've really missed my brother. I mean you guys did have constant sleepovers with me or Wendy, but since we're all living under one roof we can have all the sleepovers we can. Hey maybe once me and Dipper settle down, we could have a sleepover in his room." Mabel suggested.

The trio of girls soon gained a lot of ideas when that happened. Wendy wondered if she could have movie nights with him again. Dipper always loved that and Robbie can now trust him to a point where he doesn't have to worry about Dipper hitting on her. Mabel had the ideas of making Dipper read the latest Werewolf Hunk: the series of a "complex" teenager that falls in love with a supernatural character. It has been deemed to most original and not beating a dead horse series ever. And Tambry blushed with being next to Dipper for an entire night. She held a very tiny crush on her best friend since he gave her his Pine Tree hat and even small hints of it during their years together in Piedmont. Tambry rubbed her wrist unconsciously as she thought about it. But soon was interrupted by a certain old man.

Stan walked out and gained the girls attention. "Alright listen. Wendy, Tambry help Mabel unpack in her new room next to Dipper's. Nate and Robbie are helping Dipper move in. The sooner we have them settled the soon we can finish this catching up." Stan said as he burped.

"Yeah we'll get to the Mr. Pines." The two girls said.

"Sure thing Grunkle Stan." Mabel said. The girls nodded and entered the building. Unknown to them a white haired little man was watching them.

"Well isn't this sweeter than my momma's pecan pie. Maybe I'll introduce myself after they get settled in." The voice said. His laugh echoed and soon he vanished.
