Chapter 1

… Andy stood outside the balcony admiring the remarkable beauty of the multiple stars in the night time sky. The gentle breeze ran it's fingers through his blonde hair and it kissed his skin sending a shiver down his spine. It was probably 40 or 30 degrees outside right now, but he didn't care. He had something on his mind. The thoughts in his mind was of paramount importance because it would change his life forever.

His stomach twist in knots as he tried to collect the thoughts together. "Rebecca _ Rebecca Hoover do you_ will you_" He sighed, and shook his head. Really Andy, you can't even pretend? He thought to himself.

Just do it, Andy. A voice within his head stated.

What if she says no. He answered back to the voice. And could you really blame him, they're both 20 years old and they've been living together in a discreet neighborhood in an apartment every since they ran away together from the Inner Circle at 15 years old. They're too young for him to do this.

"Andy..." He heard behind him, he swiftly turned around seeing the love his life giving him a concerned stare. "What are you doing out here?"

His heart pounded violently as he tried to think of a lie. Because he couldn't do it. He just couldn't say it to her. "Just looking up at the stars." He said, while looking up at the sky. He wanted to punch himself in the face for being a coward.

His thoughts were quickly interrupted when he felt her wrap her arms around him from behind, she rested her chin on his shoulder giving him a good whiff of her lemon scented hair. As she stared at the many specs that twinkled in the dark sky with him, his thoughts were like a wildfire.

Say it, Andy. Now's the time. His own voice told him again, This is the moment.

His stomach twisted and his heart pounded rapidly again as he shoved his hand in his sweat pants pocket, obeying the voice of reason in his head. He nervously chewed on his lip as he fished for the diamond ring in his pocket as soon as he had it in the palm of his hand within his pocket. He stated, "So _ Uh_ Rebecca."

"Hmm..." She replied gently.

"I've been thinking and_ "

"Oh look! Andy!" She suddenly interrupted, pointing at a star that rushed through the sky. "A shooting star!"

She promptly released him and rushed toward the balcony railing to get a better look at the star. He sighed under his breath and released the ring in his pocket. I guess it's not the time. He thought to himself. "I use to wish upon a shooting star as a kid." She explained, "And now I finally got my wish." She said turning around to beam specifically at him. He smiled back at her.

The two shared a smile before she slowly kneeled in and kissed him for what felt like a couple minutes before finally pulling away. "What was that for?" He grinned.

"For everything." She explained, before kissing him passionately again. But this time she moved him back into his bedroom, both of their bedrooms had a balcony in it. He fell on his king sized bed and to Andy's surprise she dominated him. She sat on his lap kissing his lips and intertwining her fingers in his hair.

And that's when he heard the diamond ring fall onto the floor. Shit! He thought, but before he could do anything the brunette already had it in between her fingers. "Is this for me, Andy?"

He flushed feeling his cheeks burn, this wasn't how he imagined going about this. "You like it?"

She stared at the ring in awe, as he went on "I mean... Rebecca Hoover, will you marry me?" He asked, feeling completely doubtful and nervous.

Rebecca looked at him and said...

His alarm suddenly went off, breaking the teenage boy's sleep. He opened his eyes seeing the sunlight gazing at him through his bedroom window. He couldn't resist becoming angry, now he'd never know. He closed his eyes trying to fall asleep but he failed to avail, making him even more frustrated.

It was all his fault that Rebecca died and sleep was the only way to cope with the pain. It's been a few days and to his surprise Reeva or anyone else hadn't bothered him or mentioned anything to him about training, probably because they were giving him time to grieve or maybe because they were too busy. But they all left him alone, all except Lorna who would sometimes check on him or invite him to join her for lunch or dinner or to even watch TV. But he wasn't in the mood.

All he wanted was sleep, and to be alone. Nothing more. He just couldn't stop thinking about her.

She was his first everything. His first date, his first kiss and his first girlfriend...

And all he ever wanted that day was to spend the rest of his life with her, so that she could later on be his first wife too.
