...
Snake bite." Ban's angered shout rang out through the deserted ground and to his frustration that stupid Beast Master had dodged him by millimetres again.
"Hey monkey boy." Ban called out when he suddenly lost sight of his opponent. Where the hell had he disappeared to? "Backed out, have you?"
"Never, Snake-bastard." came a growl from somewhere up and Ban had already moved back with the speed of lightning. Shido looked up as Midou grinned and then charged at him. The two got into a raging battle where both tried to get at each other and never dodging, a ferocious fight.
'Ban! Help!' Ban had been so focused on the beast master in front, he had tuned out any out-wordly noises but Ginji's sudden panicked plea at the back of his head meant only one thing. The idiot blonde was in danger. Terrible danger.
His sunglasses cracked and fel at his feet. He looked up to see Shido smirking as he still had his fisted hand a hair's breadth from smashing his nose.
"Remembered something Snake-for-brains?" he asked as he withdrew when Ban didn't even acknowledge his near defeat but instead continued to pay attention to something as if he was trying to hear something in the distance.
'Hellllp! Baaan!' and in an instant Ban shot off towards the forest where Ginji had probably run off to while trying to save that 'cute' girl they had met earlier. She hadn't been any more than sixteen with brown curls and large brown eyes that had Ginji drooling all over her immediately. Who would've known she had lost her mother in the forest and he would have accompanied the Lightning Emperor had the Monkey-boy not come right then to pick a fight.
He hoped with everything that Ginji wasn't in any acute trouble but the voice in his head kept getting fainter. A clocktower chimed once somewhere. Once. He increased his pace. Twice. He wasn't paying attention to his surroundings anymore, just that idiotic friend of his whose voice was making even him panic. How bad could things be? The clock had chimed five times already and the last was coming to signal the arrival of six o'clock.
He tore down a slope and into a clearing where the girl from earlier was tied up and Ban looked around to find Ginji...
"Hey Ban." he said weakly making Ban curl his fists in anger at the sight.
"You called me for this?" he shouted at the blonde who now turned to his chibi form. The gorilla that had been holding him down now looked delighted and began tickling and playing with the little Ginji while he laughed.
"Ban, i just got so scared. I mean can you believe this gorilla was the cutie's mom?" Ban looked at the girl still tied up.
"Who tied her up like that and why?" he asked Ginji.
"See, she was actually the thief we were looking for; the one who stole our client's floppy" he informed Ban as he motioned towards somebody who had just arrived beside the girl and the Jagan wielder turned to see...
"Thread-spinner? What the heck are you doing here?" The pretty boy shrugged.
"The young miss over here was trying to kill Ginji so he wouldn't be able to finish his recovery service. Since you and Shido were so busy in the fight, i thought i'd come looking for Mr.Ginji." The threadmaster told him and he turned towards the girl wondering why she hadn't been killed.
"Well, the gorilla was her mother" Ginji said in a compassionate tone and Ban sighed. You could never refuse him anything.
"Tarzan girl, huh?" Ban chuckled as he made his way towards the girl to take her up to Honky Tonk for information when Ginji cried out thinking Ban would end her life.
"She's so cute, Ban." he whined, "I couldn't-NO!" he screamed as Ban turned to his chibi form and the next moment all anyone could see was a cloud of dust.
POW!BANG!OUCH!BAM!AAAH!
"YOU IDIOT!"
"NO BAN,NOOO!"
