ENJOY!
"As a history teacher, do you like any particular quote from history?" Ron asked his fellow teacher while they took a break from grading papers.
"I do in fact. 'Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.' Martin Luther King Jr." She told him, taking a sip of tea. Ron contemplated that. He was an English teacher, quotes were present constantly, and yet, "I don't think I've ever heard that before." He admitted.
"That's right, you're British. I learned it when I was a kid. My mom was in love with the man's words." She took another sip of tea. Abigail Hert was a great teacher, though she would use her own history in her teachings.
"I think we should be getting to class." She stood, leaving her tea in the cup and putting it in the mini fridge. Ron always thought that it was a weird practice.
"See ya!" She called out as she left. Ron sighed before getting to his feet. He just needed to get through the day, then he'll have the weekend.
"Coral?" His student told him that, apparently, he was wearing 'the worst shade of orange in existence' shirt, and that he might want to try coral if he wants to 'continue wearing the worst color ever' to class. He might not be the best dressed teacher, but that didn't give her the right to make fun of his clothes.
His phone call to Hermione later that day told him that she didn't agree with the girl.
"Do not, I repeat, Do NOT wear coral. It would look horrible on you. I agree that you should stop wearing the orange, try blues and greens. It goes better with your hair and complexion." She was no help at all. He was trying to complain about his day.
"Oh don't give me the silent treatment. Both Ginny and I have been trying to burn that shirt every day before you moved. You should do us a favor and get rid of it." It was true. He's had the shirt since he was fourteen, and it still fit him, a bit tight around the arms now since he wasn't a scrawny kid anymore, but it fit well enough still.
"I'll think about it." He told her sarcastically.
"Don't give me your sass. I have to go, Collin needs to take a break before he breaks something, again. Bye Ronald." Ron hung up the phone, and looked down at his shirt.
It wasn't that bad.
So Close! Need to finish in five minutes!
