Spectacles of Grandeur
Reach the summit of a mountain, carry back the grand peak's might;
Journey forth unto the sun, take its illuminating light
Upon a soaring eagle's back, capture its majesty;
Gather up the darkened beauty at the bottom of the sea
Reach into the twink'ling heavens, catch the magic of stardust;
Upon a sandy beach, round up the ocean's forceful gust
Gaze upon a dreamy sunset, absorb its tranquility;
Travel to a peaceful valley, snatch its sweet serenity
We mere mortals cannot comprehend our wealth upon this Earth;
We are like the rich man's child, spoiled heartily from birth
But no dollar 'n no penny ever bought something so grand;
A little world, ours for the keeping, cupped in God's almighty hand
