Hello and welcome to 'Howl to the Unconstant Moon'. This is still a work in process. PLEASE bear with me. This is a remix of the Twilight series, since I thought the original was soaked with too much lovey-dovey and overdramatic situations. If you have any requests for other stories I should write, please comment!
INTRODUCTION
Water droplets covered the evergreens as rain poured over the little city of Forks, Washington. Adults rushed in and out of stores as if the world was running out on resources while their pets wait anxiously in the car for their owners return. Students start arriving home from school by car, bus, truck, etc., oh so 'eager' to do their homework. A young pale girl in the distance peered at the Swan household through all of the bellowing branches. Her abysmal brown eyes focused on the driveway and her raven black hair tucked into her camouflage hoodie. A busted up pickup rolled in and young Bella Swan hopped out of her car, the same mellow look on her face as always. Why am I even here? She thought. I don't even know this girl...
The brief sound of a twig snapping woke her up from a nearly subconscious trance. Above her a woman, by appearance 20 years old, with deep red hair and skin paler than snow was glaring at Bella, her golden eyes bright with fury. Victoria! Her mission would now be complete. Jumping upwards and grabbing the branch, she flew herself towards Victoria. Stunned, but not fully surprised, she attempted to flee. Fool... She was the fastest of her group and the most faultless. Within a few meager seconds, she was backed up against a tree, facing her executioner. Seemingly unafraid, she spat, "Do you even know who, no better yet, what I am? You weak little humans can't even put a finger on me!" Smirking and almost on the verge of laughter, she looked directly into her eyes. "Yes, I know who you are, but I am not just a simple human." Confused, Victoria stuttered, "Then, what are you? Did the Volturi send you? Your eyes are different..." "No, I am not a part of those blood sucking devils…. I'm your worst nightmare." The forest echoed with the sound of screeching, but it quickly died off amidst the trees…
