Girls, at least once in your life surely you've thought of being a Princess. To live in a castle with pretty gowns and jewels. Not only that but to have some smoking hot Prince who loves you more than life itself and would die for you.
Well by process of elimination, at least one girl would have to end up a Princess once in a while. I'm just surprised it was me.
Over the past four days I've gone from, being grounded forever (literally, like I was locked in a tower), to being the Lost Princess. From have forty feet of magic blonde hair to having short brown hair and lastly, from never even seen a man before to falling in love with a thief.
That's right, not some super mega foxy awesome hot Prince, a thief.
This is what I challenge you to think of.
Think of your ideal man.
Most of you would think of a chivalrous hunk who'd give you anything you ask one who you can live comfortably with and that would understand what its like to be royal. The person who could give you anything with the snap of his fingers. The safe option.
What about that man who is roguish and ragged. He likes to think he's suave always giving you an infuriating smirk. Making you flush with anger. Or in my case hit him on the head with a fry pan. The sarcastic man that as much as you hate it, after a few hours with him you could never forget him because even though he gets under your skin you love it because he makes you feel something he makes you feel alive.
The roguish man may be poor, may not be able to buy you everything you've ever wanted but he can give you emotion. He can infuriate you like no other and yet also spark something within you every time that causes you to shiver. This strange feeling that makes you feel like your heart is soaring and you can do anything with that person by your side.
As much as you both hate to admit it, you've fallen in love.
Now I myself was stuck falling in love with a thief. But there was something that Gothel never counted on when she got Eugene thrown in jail. Gothel underestimated the power of love. She never thought that Eugene would actually risk his life to save me. Fatal mistake.
I may have thought it unfortunate to fall in love with a thief. But my thief, literally died to save me.
If I had fallen for the Prince kind of man, he'd not have made a brunette comment when brought back to life, he wouldn't have smirked at me and I most definitely wouldn't have bounded over to him as I did for Eugene.
It was never going to be easy, a Princess and a thief but as proven, not even death could taint the love that we have.
