Luna and Sola Do Not Own Warriors

Prologue

The full moon shone brightly on the two kits. One's pelt glowed in the full moon's wonderful light. Bluestar gazed at her sister's kits sadly, for it has been a half-moon since Redtail's death. Her heart bled at the thought these kits would never meet their mother or father. She sighed and began the naming ceremony, "By the power of Starclan, I give you names" She looked at the silver kit, "From now on you shall be known as Lunarkit," Then she turns towards the golden kit, "And you shall be known as Solarkit." The kits stayed knowingly quiet, and the stayed close to their dead and bleeding mother, who had died protecting her kits as punishment for mating another clan. She was from the Riverclan and her mate, dead now, was from Thunderclan. Then Bluestar sadly said farewell to her sister and buried her near the river. "Good-bye my twin." The queen's white pelt, dirty with blood, was lost in the ground. Bluestar gently picked up the two kits and carried them into camp. She looked at the queens and their kits, "Can you take care of these kits, they will not be here long. They are five and a half moons old. I have just given them names."

Goldenflower looked at them gently, "Yes, they smell like Riverclan… Who are their parents?"

Bluestar sighed, "Their parents have nothing to do with them, but their mother was Moonstream and father was Redtail."

The queens gasped, "Redtail was mates with a Riverclan?"

Bluestar nodded and said, "But that has nothing to do with how they'll turn out. Their good kits. Moonstream was originally a Thunderclan, too. We shared the same mother and father. She went with our father and I stayed with our mother. She is my gentle sister."

The queens were shocked, "Your part Riverclan!"

Bluestar nodded sorrowfully, "My family usually ends up a mix of Riverclan and Thunderclan, no one knows why…" The queens looked at her a little longer, sighed and agreed to taking in the kits. Bluestar felt relieved, "Thank you, may Starclan be with you always." She turned out and was met with Firepaw, "What are you doing up so late, go back to the apprentice den."

He looked at her curiously, "I was going to go hunt, it's dawn."

She looked and could make out the sun rising, "Sorry, I must have been out later than I thought."

Greypaw bounded out of the den sleepily. "Come on Firepaw…" A silver kit walked out of the den, "Who are you?"

She looked at him, her eyes glazed sadly, then she looked towards the setting moon and muttered, "Oh matris luna, servo mihi ex atrum ut threatens concremo mihi. Succurro mihi servo meus sanctimonialis, meus aunt, quod meus novus gens. Ego quoque saluto vos Astrumgens, Spero ut vos suscipio matris quod abbas grate." Turning to Bluestar the haunted look disappeared and was filled with gentle understanding, "There is an enemy among us, he is someone we trust deeply and would not expect to betray us. The raven flying through fire and smoke will give us the truth. That is the message mother Luna sent me." Ravenpaw had heard it and stared in shock. The kit turned and walked past him and into the tent and whispered, "Do not lose hope. I will help you in your battle against Tigerclaw." He gasped, but nobody seemed to have heard her.

Greypaw watched him, "What did she say?"

Ravenpaw looked down, "I'll tell you later…"

Sola: Oh, it's so short because it's the Prologue.
