Author's Note: I'm posting this week's drabbles early because I might be going away this afternoon to a maritime festival to be one of a group of official photographers—I even have a lanyard, which is awesome. I've never had a lanyard before. It's very exciting. Only problem is I pulled a muscle in my back working with the sheep yesterday, so I might be unable to lug camera equipment around all afternoon. It's all a bit touch-and-go. Writing this drabble gave me an excuse to re-watch 4.20 "The Rapture". I just wonder about Jimmy's family sometimes. It's also 100 words—whoop, whoop! :)
A Wanted Man
"Suspected of being a serial killer, fingerprints belonging to wanted man James Novak—'Jimmy' to those who know him—have been found at yet another crime scene. Authorities are unwilling to divulge further information regarding the third multiple homicide in four weeks, but an inside source says they're stumped," the news anchor reads. "Photos of a body with burnt-out eyes were leaked last week—"
Disgusted and saddened in equal measure, Amelia turns off the television just as Claire joins her in the kitchen. Amelia knows she can't hide this from her daughter forever, but she can damn well try.
