Hi! Well, this little longer-than-intended-supposed-to-be-drabble was thought up when I heard the song Never Had a Dream Come True by S Club 7. I've wanted to do a House/Cameron thing for a while, so I was instantly inspired! And after thinking and not getting anywhere, I just started typing. And I'm very happy with how this turned out! It's very sappy, and so not House-like, but alot of short, romance drabbles are out of character to an extent. I just hope mine isn't annoyingly so...Well, I hope you enjoy reading my sappy little drabble! And not including this rant, the fic is exactly 330 words. Too long for a drabble? I hope not...

Anyways, please review and tell me what you think! I love getting reviews! They are the driving force that keep me going in life. I need them more than oxygen! (Okay, I'm exagerating just A BIT! But they do make me VERY happy!!!)

She lay at his side in the warm bed. Her reddish-brown hair that curled only slightly was currently messy and framing her face. One strand found its place right across her face. It made her look even more elegant and exquisite than she already was. Her light blue eyes were closed and a peaceful smile played at her lips. She looked like an Angel, asleep in the Devil's bed.

He sat up, propped on his elbow. His leg pained him slightly, but he ignored the pain. He instead focused his attention on the sleeping girl at his side. He had always been aware of their age difference. But last night, that didn't matter anymore. The only thing that mattered was that she was now his.

He was slightly startled by the radio suddenly turning on. After all, this wasn't his house. He was in her territory now. He didn't like that, but he'd deal with it. For her. The song that began playing was one he was familiar with. He never liked the song, but she had. The other she. She always loved the song and he put up with it. But she left. And now the girl lying at his side replaced the one he had loved for five years.

Just as the song had reached its second "Never had a dream come true…", his sleeping lover opened her eyes. She looked at him, blinking a few times, and smiled.

"I love this song." He wasn't sure whether he was more irked that she liked it or surprised that there was one other thing the only two girls he ever opened up to had in common. He nodded curtly. She smiled and snuggled up to him.

"It's true, too. You're my dream come true." It was cheesy, and so not him, but he hoped this time it would work. He'd never admit it, but he had always wanted a fairy-tale ending. Maybe she'd be the princess to his prince.
