A/N: Just a little short drabble I came up with. Hope you like!
It Wasn't….
It wasn't after a fight, him pushing her against the wall as their tongues tangled furiously together.
It wasn't during a case, when they became frustrated and let off steam by pulling each other's clothes off, one late night in her office
It wasn't when she was feeling sad about her father that he leaned over and softly pressed his lips against hers, both sighing in delight.
It wasn't when he was upset about his past actions as a sniper when she brushed the tear from his eye and kissed away the pain.
It wasn't forced, like the mistletoe kiss, brought on by a puckish attorney in need of some holiday cheer.
It wasn't like the world was ending in a haze of fireworks and explosions but it wasn't boring either.
It wasn't when one felt guilty or the other sorry, it didn't come from anger or frustration.
It wasn't never ending but rather short, their lips instinctively knowing when to stop.
It wasn't because of a sudden realization but rather a slow build up over time.
It wasn't the last kiss they shared, not by a long shot, with many kisses to come in the years ahead.
