"Father, this is ridiculous."
The smaller of the two Reapers sighed, eyes shutting as arms crossed over his chest. Why did he even agree to this? It was just idiotic.
"Oh, come on Kiddo! Try and have some fun everyone once in awhile, you are still young after all."
The elder explained in his normal, goofy tone, a hand ruffling Kid's hair—Even a smile set to his features. That was something different, his face being visible, though, at the manor and around his son he really had no reason for the mask.
"I don't see how you can call this fun, it's childish."
He explained with a sigh, golden orbs rolling as he just sighed, giving up—Knowing he wouldn't win the argument. Picking up the controller from beside him he fumbled with the buttons—Trying to figure it all out…
"How do you even know how to play this thing? I don't even know…"
"Well, I heard some of the students around the academy talking about these 'video games' and I thought perhaps you'd find enjoyment out of them so I had Spirit show me!"
Chiming his words the Reaper nodded as well, shoulders shrugging down as he picked up the other controller, clicking away at the buttons as he got the game to set up.
This wouldn't end well.
"Father! You have to pick up all the coins—Don't just leave some behind."
"Kiddo—I don't think that's the main objective though."
"But they're important to—You can't just leave it behind—Oi! Don't pick up anymore our scores have to be even."
The elder just grimaced, shrinking down slightly in his seat—Maybe this wasn't really the best way to bond with his son after all…
