Motherly Instincts

I do not own the Jesus-likeness that is HagaRen.

Riza frowned, placing a hand on her hip. This was the third time this week that she'd found the Colonel asleep at his desk. And it was Monday. At 10 A.M. Sighing, she took out a gun and cocked it. As soon as the gun clicked, Roy sat up straight, blinking and rubbing at his eyes furiously.

"I'm working! I swear!" He grabbed a pile of papers and started reading through them as the blonde watched, finger still on the trigger of her gun in case her superior started to nod off again.

"Sir, shouldn't you be sleeping at night instead of at your desk during work hours? It would be bad if one of the higher ups dropped in unexpectedly to find you asleep." She chastised half-heatedly, knowing the dark haired man hadn't gotten a good night's rest after Hughes death.

He didn't reply, signing his name on a page and placing it in the nearly non-existent 'out' pile. He yawned, placing a hand over his mouth. "I'll rest when I get to the bottom of this."

Placing her gun back into it's holster, Riza walked out the door, nearly bumping into Edward as he came in to give a report on his latest mission. He looked worn out as well.

'When are these men going to start taking care of themselves?' The blonde female asked herself, as the door closed behind the young alchemist.
