This is an AU. What else can I say? It's another Adventure Time one-shot. PS- There is no names used in this fanfic. However, here is a hint: gender swap. So, enjoy!
How do I remember her? I do not remember anything about her. She claims she knows me, but I do not know her. However, I remember when I was only a young child; there was a woman who gave me something special, to me. A doll. Not an ordinary doll; it was a blue cat. Because of the woman's kindness, I smiled at the woman.
But the woman did look familiar to her. The woman had her same skin color, but a different hue. She even had the same hair color as her and the same nose. How could this woman be similar to her? Would this be considered Déjà vu? Either way, I do not know.
But then she came over to my house. She creeped me out, bursting here out of nowhere. Was this even legal?
She told me she wanted my help. I asked her what "help" she wanted from me. She gave me a response, saying that she wanted a song to impress the princes. Reluctantly, I agreed. But I kept wondering why a villain, like her, would ask a hero, like me. It just doesn't make sense.
Of course, she stalked me. Really funny. It wasn't even funny. Being a villain that is stalking a hero does not belong in the book. She was invading my personal space. But eventually, I was sick of her, and I started to sing. Singing a song would make me feel better. I sung about how she was stalking, and which made it feel creepy. After I was done singing, she told me I sounded really great. Then she said, "I remember you."
That brought me with thoughts. How does she know me? How? I wanted answers, and I said that clearly to her.
But that's when she pulled out something. A photo. But, who was in the photo? Or what? That's when I snatched the photo out of her hand. There was no denying it. It was me, as a young child. Furiously, I asked her where she got the photo. Instead, she gave me this response, "You gave this to me."
Flashbacks suddenly enter my mind. I remember giving a photo to the woman, who gave me the doll, in return for her kindness. But, the photo I gave the woman was the same she had.
Could the woman be her? I wasn't sure if this was true or not. Maybe it was Déjà vu. But, she told me that she was the woman.
I could not believe it. She was the woman who gave me a best friend. But after all, she was a villain, but I strangely see her as a neutral person, who cannot decide what side she is on.
That's when we start our song, "I Remember You." Little did I know that the hero and her companion were watching the whole scene.
Review please.
