Malec Proposal
It was a warm, sunny day where Magnus was singing Alec a love song he made just for him. "That was lovely, Magnus" Alec said, smiling happily.
"It wasn't that good. I missed a note and-,"Alec cut Magnus off.
"Stop beating yourself up. No-one has ever done anything like that for me before. Be proud of what you do, Magnus." Magnus looked down at Alec. Lying down like that, he looked so peaceful. What had he done to deserve such a handsome man? Magnus thought. I have to ask him.
"Alec… there's something I need to tell you…" Magnus said softly, rubbing the back of his neck. A nervous habit he picked up when he was younger. "You're a great guy-," Alec got up quickly.
"What? Magnus, if you're breaking up with me, just say it" Alec said, actually, more like shouted. "Don't sugar-coat it."
Magnus looked horrified. "Alec, Alec, darling. I'm not breaking up with you"
"You're not?"
"No," Alec let out a sigh of relief, "In fact, I'm doing the opposite." Magnus got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. "Alec Lightwood… I love you, more than life itself. You're the brightest, most handsome man I've ever met and probably will ever meet. Will you do me the honour in becoming my husband?" Magnus looked Alec straight in the eye.
Alec looked straight back. "Yes."
