The room was quite as Theodore sat on his bed. He couldn't believe that it was his, and his brother's, eighteenth birthday. Everyone else was down stairs enjoying the party but not Theodore, he was to busy enjoying the fact that he could now act on the feelings he had since he was young.

Theodore had a secret, he was in love with his adoptive father. Theodore didn't know how he had come to feel this way but it was what he spent most of his time thinking about, it was almost an obsession to him.

He didn't know if Dave felt the same was he did but he was going to find out tonight. He had it all planed out and he had already set his plan into motion. He acted like he was sick so he could stay home while his brother's and the chipetts went out clubing to celebrate. That was when he would strike,

Theodore's stomach felt as if there were millions of butterflies in it as he heard the front door close and and Dave call out to his brother's to be safe.

Theodore heard Dave's foot steps as he climbed the stairs. The sound continued and Theodore knew Dave was coming to check on him. He quickly got under the covers.

There was knock on the door. "Come in", Theodore called from his bed.

Dave entered his son's bedroom, "It's to bad that you're not feeling good. I'm sorry that you're going to miss out."

Theodore shook his head, "It's alright Dave. I can go clubing some other time."

"Is there anything I can get you?", Dave's voice was full of concern for his "sick" son.

Theodore put the next part of his plan into action by whispering something.

"What?", Dave came a little closer to try and hear better,

Theodore whispered again. Dave came a little closer, "You're going to have to speak up Theodore."

Theodore motioned for Dave to come closer. Dave walked over to the green bed where his son was laying, "Is something wrong Theodore?"

A sly smile spread across Theodore's lips, "Yes...", he said quietly.

Dave leaned in closer to his son, "What is it?"

Theodore grabbed the collar of Dave's shirt and pulled him into his lap, "I need you..."

Dave's face had a mix on confusion and fear on his face, "What?"

"I've been in love with you for years Dave", there was no turning back at this point, it was all or nothing.

"Theodore...", Dave was cut off by Theodore putting his finger up to his lips.

"If you let me I can prove to you that his is right", Theodore moved closer to Dave until their faces were just inches from each other.

Dave didn't know what had come over him but he didn't try to fight back in fact he found himself leaning towards his son.

Just before their lips met Dave pulled back, "Wait there's something I think we both need to say first."

Theodore nodded and he and Dave turned their heads so they were looking at you, the reader. They both smiled and spoke with a seductive tone, "April Fools..."
