In my friend's Gold, she was trying to get a Shiny Ponyta. I can't remember if she got it or not. This is all for laughs. :3 Enjoy.
The setting sun bathed the bustling metropolis of Goldenrod in a rich, orange tone. One of the top favorite cities of travelers, it boasted its nightlife with the Radio Tower sponsoring dances, the Game Corner always open until morning, and the Train Station picking up and dropping off citizens around the clock.
In the local Pokemon Center, the public PC beeped to life as Pokemon Breeder Rei logged into her account, a large smile plastered on her face. Her bag made gentle knocking noises as she placed it onto the floor, the flap slipping open to reveal a batch of green-spotted eggs. Out of her pockets, she pulled out several Pokeballs and placed them into a compartment under the PC. After a few clicks of the mouse, a window appeared on the screen with the words, "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO PROCEED?"
"YES" was selected, and the compartment buzzed softly, followed by a series of clicking noises. The PC was shut off, the bag shouldered with care, and the Pokeballs cradled in her arms. Several bystanders looked at her with confusion, wondering what a Trainer was doing with so many Pokeballs held in such a way, but others, who recognized her, panicked, and started to approach her while trying to convince her to stop what she was doing. They remained ignored by the blonde, though, and when she reached the entrance, the door whirred open and the Pokeballs were thrown out. After a sequence of flashing lights, the all-too-familiar forms of Ponyta appeared, all looking young and bewildered. The Pokeballs then broke, their jobs completed.
"Bye-bye, Ponyta!" Rei waved, grinning as the foals threw their heads and galloped off. "Have fun with your brothers and sisters and aunts and uncles and all your other relatives!" Silence blanketed the area, all those inside the Pokecenter frozen in disbelief and horror. When the Breeder turned around and saw their faces, she wore a look of bafflement. "What's wrong?" She didn't stay to hear their explanations and instead left, heading down south to give the Daycare a visit. She appeared oblivious to the panic that was brewing with the new Ponyta that joined the hundreds that were already plaguing the city.
