Author's Note: This is horrible. I just needed a break from my other works & just wrote it without thinking. I apologize for any mistakes.

It had happened so sudden. So unexpected. And she regretted it immediately.

The normally fair skin tone of Rachel Berry's cheek was turning into a hint of pink. There was an imprint of finger marks growing faintly.

The brunette turned to her girlfriend in surprise, who was gaping at what she had just done.

"I-I'm so sorry," Quinn Fabray uttered softly, "I didn't mean to hit you, ohmygod."

The blonde started pacing around her girlfriend, trying to control her emotions.

"I'm so sorry, I'm going to go," Quinn mumbled, heading for the door.

"No, don't go," Rachel halted the blonde's actions by placing a calming hand on her arm. "It's okay, I deserve it. I cheated on you. You were right."

"You didn't deserve it. No one deserves to be hit. I have to go. I understand if you never want to se me again."

"This was just only one time. I know it won't happen again. I know you won't hit me again."

Quinn turned to her girlfriend, then began sobbing into her shoulder. The brunette embraced the girl into a hug, running her fingers through blonde locks. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay," Rachel replied, "It won't happen again."

Quinn pulled back, lightly placing a hand on the wounded cheek. "Do you remember when you first found out about my abusive father? I told you not to tell anyone. And I said he would never do it again, because he always said that, and I believed him. But he did it every single fucking day. Remember that day when you first kissed me? He abused me so horribly that day, that I even landed at the hospital. And I'm going to obviously be the same. You don't deserve me."

"You're never going to be that man. This was just a mistake. It's okay. I forgive you," Rachel cooed.

Quinn sobbed audibly again, and examined the mark. "I can't do this. We can't do this. I don't trust myself around you anymore. It's best if we weren't together."

"Quinn-" Rachel started.

The blonde escaped Rachel's grasp, and sprinted swiftly out of the house. "Goodbye, Rachel."

"Quinn!"
