I wrote this a few weeks ago and didn't really like it, but decided to upload it anyway. The tenses are complete crap and it's just weird. I might take it down, but we'll see.

Every Saturday morning for the past month, Spencer Hastings takes a train to Philadelphia, ten o'clock sharp on the dot, to visit her new friend. She goes to the city other days too, often randomly, but every Saturday, it's a sure thing. The brunette had never cared before to visit people outside of Rosewood, seldom going to her grandparents' or aunts and uncles' houses, preferring to stay in the idyllic small-town setting of where she resided.

She never really intended to visit her friend as much as she had in the past few weeks, but as the girls pressured her to find out more information about Jenna Cavanaugh, the suspicious blind girl who could or could not be A, she frequented visits to the city of brotherly love, but soon, she realized she was coming for an entirely different reason.

The visually impaired boy with the bluest eyes she had ever seen was causing her excitement for going back to Jenna's old school for the blind. After her first three visits, he had already caught onto her reoccurring stops and began to greet her as she arrived at 10:45 AM.

Spencer supposes she's starting to get used to it herself and decidedly really likes the weird friendship that's potentially forming, even if they did meet for all the wrong reasons.

Entering through the thick wooden door, the two exchange friendly hellos before making their way to the waiting area. He offers her a coffee and she politely accepts, finally letting him get it for her. At their previous meetings, she was so terrified of him accidentally scalding himself, she declined every time. However, she now knew all she had to do was simply say what hand it was at.

He sits back down and they talk. They would usually always speak firstly about Jenna, as Spencer had to come back with something for the girls so she wouldn't arouse suspicion (although Hanna was starting to catch on fast). The conversation gradually glides away from the subject of Spencer's "old pal, Jenna" and shifts to something a pair of normal teenagers would talk about. Music, school, homework. He would crack a joke or two in the middle of it and Spencer would start to laugh. A genuine, honest-to-God laugh and smile that hasn't been seen for days and she can feel it brighten her face. She always has a feeling he knows it too.

Soon after, it's time for her to go. To resume to her hectic life in Rosewood, away from him and back to psychotic stalkers, three chapters of history homework, and two due essays. It's the part she hates most, going back home. But she knows that for a short hour every Saturday morning, she can just properly sit down, talk to a listening friend, and forget that her life is really as chaotic as it seems.
