A smile spread across Anna's face when she heard the doorbell ring and made her way over to answer it. When she opened the door her smile grew even wider, standing on the other side of the door was her boyfriend, Skylar.

Skylar had an even bigger smile on his face and wasted no time to lean in to kiss her.

When they pulled apart, their smiles were even bigger. "Why don't you come on in so we can get this movie marathon started," the blonde said as she moved out of the way to let the brunette in.

"Sounds great babe," Skylar said as he made his way in and sat on the couch before taking the backpack her had over his shoulder off.

Anna followed him and sat down in the spot next to him, smiling when Skylar's wrapped around her shoulders. "What movies did you pick for us?" The blonde asked curiously.

"Seeing as it's his birthday, I figured we'd do a Harry Potter marathon."

Anna couldn't help but shake her head at how adorkable her boyfriend was as she took the first DVD out and got it ready. "I'm just going to make some popcorn and then we can start the movie."

"No need," Skylar said as he pulled a large plastic bag filled with popcorn out of his backpack. "I stopped by the movie theatre before I came here because nothing beats movie theatre popcorn."

The blonde leaned in to kiss her boyfriend. "Thank you so much, you really are the best boyfriend a girl could ask for."

Skylar just shrugged his shoulder before casually saying, "I know," which earned him a smack on the arm and being told to start the movie.

After Goblet of Fire, the couple decided to take a break for a proper dinner. Anna grilled up some chicken to perfection as they talked about their weeks.

When the kitchen and dining room were cleaned up, they returned to the couch to resume their movie watching.

The couple made it through two more movies before they were both asleep on the couch, wrapped in each other's arms with content smiles on their faces.

Even Rocky the Puggle knew better than to disrupt the heartwarming sight. Instead, he jumped on the couch and burrowed himself between the couple before drifting off to sleep.
