When your young you think you have your whole life planned out. You think you know what career you want even though you usually switch it up almost every year, what house you want, and even who your gonna marry. But unfortunately when you get older, things change. You start to question what your going to do after high school and then try to convince yourself you've got plenty of before you know it your walking across that stage to get your diploma and still have no idea what your going to do with your life. I'm not saying that this happens to everyone, just some people. And unfortunately I'm one of those people. Which is exactly what lead me to a new path.
"Ms. Mina only a few more miles until we're in Harmonica Town." "Alright, thanks." That's my name, Mina. I just turned 19 last week. My birthday's on the 12th day of spring. I'm on my way to Harmonica Town to fulfill a new calling in my life, farming. Now this wasn't exactly my first choice especially since I'm definitely a city girl. But here's the story: After I graduated all my friends already had their careers in mind and were set on going to college. I hate school so I knew college wasn't for me and I didn't want to be stuck at home with my dad helping him with our bakery shop. So, I found the farm ad online, called the mayor and here I am, on my way to town. My dad was against me leaving at first but eventually gave in. He says I'm hard headed at times and once I stick to doing something i Wong give up. Just like my mom. She left when I was 10. The way my dad put it was that she needed like a self enlightenment. But as I got older I figured it was because she was unhappy being tied to a family. But it doesn't bother me that much any more, I've always loved it being just me and my dad. But back to the main point. I guess I just wanted a change scenery. The city is just a whole bunch of cars, buildings, noise and chaos. But out here it's quiet, peaceful ad just beautiful. I've always loved nature and I've never disliked animals so this is completely perfect! "Alright Ms. Mina here we are the beautiful Harmonica Town."
Beautiful was right. This town was completely gorgeous! I took a step down from the carriage stretching my legs and taking in the scenery. "Is this town hall?" "Yes it sure is," the man replied. "The mayor's office is right here. Go on in, ill be out here with your bags."
Ok my first thoughts of the mayor's office, OMG. It's frickin huge! To put in perspective imagine a mansion and it's huge ceiling and wide space. Yea, that's the mayor's office. Not house, office.
