Ahadi, former king of the formerly lush Pridelands watched from the glorious heavens as his youngest son was thrown off the large edge of Pride Rock, by the paws of his very own nephew. It was a saddening sight for the dead king, and a single tear fell from his unliving eye.
He had tried so hard. He had tried so hard to mold young Taka into a great lion, one worthy of standing proudly beside his older brother, helping him rule the kingdom as his advisor.
But Taka had not wanted that life.
As Ahadi began to spend more and more time with Mufasa, training him to be a king, Taka only began to grow more and more jealous of his older brother.
Ahadi had tried to speak to the young lion, but Taka had only snarled and strutted away. In his anger, Ahadi had struck Taka across his face, leaving a bloody mark on his eye. A mark that would form a permanent scar.
That's when realization stuck Ahadi.
HE was the one that had turned Taka into Scar. HE was the one that had inadvertently led to the death of his eldest son. HE was the one that had permanently scarred the Pridelands and those who lived there.
And so, King Ahadi wept.
