She'd lived with him long enough to know that strenuous activites made him sleep for a day. Long enough to know he fell asleep at random times and felt horrible about it later.
Long enough to know she loved him with all her heart.
How funny it was that they'd marry into the same family, but at different times. She'd been first, a small and quiet wedding she'd invited her brother and his friends to. The groom had fallen asleep at the reception, and she'd laughed it off while saying he couldn't sleep last night. It was a fond memory, one she adored.
Her husband had an aversion to rain, the sea and the pond. A fear of drowning without anyone nearby to keep him safe, and a slight fear of water itself. She dealt with it, and she dealt with his night terrors as well. But, she didn't mind. He wasn't a bad man, he just had a million problems. And, by Atamoni, she'd help him through those problems bit by bit.
Stahn came by one day with a five-year-old Kyle and his wife, Rutee. Lilith had not expected it, but gracefully accepted it. Kyle had been excited, and her husband, Emilio, had taken him outside to play. But Kyle came running about an hour later, saying Emilio had collapsed and was crying in fear. It had scared Rutee and Stahn, who investigated immediately. Lilith followed them and interrupted as they tried to wake him up, saying he was just sleeping. It was a natural occurence, so she had asked Stahn to bring Emilio inside and made up some beds for them so they could stay the night.
Emilio was apologetic, and felt horrible for falling asleep on Kyle while they were playing a game outside. Stahn asked Lilith why she called him 'Emilio' and not 'Leon', and Emilio himself answered.
"Leon Magnus died in the mines. I'm just Emilio Katrea, a narcoleptic country bumpkin with a loving wife."
Rutee whacked him upside the head before hugging him, and Stahn and Lilith looked happy. Kyle, on the other hand...
"Who's Leon?"
