It was a warm summers day as suns first light came into the temple of Valus, lying on a straw matt near the temples entrance was Rlus the young priestess, she was wearing a simple white coloured robe. Her long blonde hair flowed out onto the hard stone floor like a long river of gold, she felt a cool breeze that made her get up, as she woke she looked up at the large stature of the dragon God Valus to whom the temple had been dedicated to, as she looked up gazing at the stature in wonder there was a loud thud at the door, "open up at once in the name of the king!" a voice shouted in anger and fear, "do you hear me open this door right now?!"
Rlus came back to her senses and rushed to open the large heavy oak door, with a loud bang she opened the latch and the door opened, all at once five knights came rushing in each one was brandishing a weapon in their hands. Quickly letting them inside Rlus closed the door behind them, she turned to face them, "so what has happened then and is it true has the vampire threat returned?" She asked in a worried sounding voice, one of the knights a young man who looked the same age as her walked slowly up to her, he then put a hand of her shoulder and smiled faintly, "it looks like that the stories were true?" He said sadly, "lord Terrog and his servants have returned," "vile bloodsucking fiends," shouted an old knight who was sitting on the temples floor clearing his blooded sword, "if we strike tonight we can get rid of those bastards once and for all." "Tonight?!" Rlus asked in a worried voice, "tonight is the night of the blood moon Terrog and his vampire horde will be stronger than ever," the young knight that had been standing near her turned his head towards her and smiled, "that is why we are here to ask that you assist us as you are a magic user are you not?"
Rlus looked at him in shock, "I am sorry my lord but what makes you think that?" She asked in a puzzled voice, "what makes you think that as I am nothing but a simple Priestess?" The old knight sat up and laughed out loud, "what's so funny Martus?" His young companion asked, "just this young girls stupidity Balgo, I mean I always thought that Priestess and priests were taught magic?" Rlus turned and faced him, "I think that you and you're men have made a mistake as I have never used magic in all of my life?" Martus looked at her and smiled, "no but you're father did wasn't he the great vampire hunter?"
