Romeo's Vows

Fair Juliet, thou art the sun which gives light to my day.Without thee I am in eternal darkness,
Yet in thy company I am in a light bright enough
For even the blind to see it.
Thou art as beautiful as heaven's fairest angel and more still,
And thy voice rings as softly and gently as a dove's.
For thee, gentle maiden, I am no longer Romeo;
All I now wish to be is thy truest love.
It was by chance that we did meet,
And I thank the stars for bringing us together.
Let them burn brightly upon this, our forbidden love,
For it is only in their light that I may be with thee,
They face full of a dainty blush,
O blossoming rose, my lovely Capulet.

Juliet's Vows

My dear Romeo, thou hast taught me to love.
I never knew such a feeling until I met thee.
Thou art a flower too handsome
For any other man to compare to ít.
Thou hath a soft and gentle face,
One unmarred by the sands of time.
When I see thee, inside of me burns
A flame hotter and brighter than any I have ever known.
As we now bind our souls together in holy ceremony,
Let us also entwine our hearts forever.
Let our love grow stronger under our familiesí hatred
Like coal becomes a diamond íneath the earth.
Take my hand, and I am thine
Until the Earth no longer spins, gentle Montague.
