Unfortunately Syed and Christian DO NOT belong to me. They belong to the BBC. Though in my heart and sadly nowhere else Syed is mine….. If only in my dreams…..
Chapter One
A blond haired stranger sat nursing a beer and glanced across the crowded club and was about to turn away when he did a double take. Who was that gorgeous dark haired honey? The stranger took another pull of his beer and took another look. The guy was handsome, that was obvious. Wavy dark locks, jeans and a dark t-shirt. You are just what I'm looking for, he thought. As he watched a taller, older man came up to him and put his arm around his shoulders, he whispered something in his ear and gave him a peck on the lips. Anger boiled within the stranger but he swallowed it down. Hopefully the taller man was just a friend, maybe even someone he'd just met. He couldn't be the only one eyeing up the dark haired hottie. As soon as that thought entered his mind he decided that he had better approach the man across the bar sooner rather than later. He was too good looking, if he didn't act quick someone was bound to get there first. He watched as the taller man whispered again in the shorter man's ear, then walked off, presumably to go to the toilet. He noticed that as the man walked off the hottie looked insecure to be standing alone. Sweet, he just loved a shy, innocent man. He was just what the doctor ordered after the last couple of months he'd had. He drained the rest of his beer, flattened his hair and made his way across the dance floor.
A couple of hours earlier…..
The door slammed shut as Christian pulled Syed's t-shirt off over his head. He pushed Syed onto the couch and kissed him passionately. There was an overwhelming desire to touch, grope, kiss and make love to each other as quickly as possible. After nearly two months apart the need was too much to take, Christian wanted Syed naked and he wanted him naked now, to feel Syed inside him again. His body ached for it and by the way Syed was kissing him and trying to straddle him he wanted it just as bad. He paused just long enough to moan the word, "bed?" He was surprised Syed even understood what he said.
"No time. Couch will do." Syed moaned against his cheek. They made love as they hadn't done in weeks and when they were done they lay spent in each other's arms, breathing hard and smiling into each other's faces, fingers interlocked.
After they could both breathe and talk again Syed cleared his throat before beginning. "Christian… Are you sure that this is what you want? I know I've messed up, with Amira and everything but if you've changed your mind I need to know. I love you, always have and I can't be without you but if you have doubts say now, this is your chance to run and make a clean break." As Syed delivered the last of his speech he could feel himself tearing up and he looked down, too scared to look Christian in the eye.
Christian smiled and tilted Syed's face up so that Syed had to look at him. "Sweetie, I never wanted to leave you in the first place. It's just that Amira was in the way, then you had to come to terms with being a dad, I don't know… It just felt that we were back to the start again when we were hiding our love and Amira was always around. Even though she's still going to be here at least now you're getting a divorce and we can move on in our lives. I love you too Sy. Nothing can ever change that. Every time I saw you in the square I wanted nothing more than to kiss you but I was hurt. Pride got in the way. Then when you started saying that you needed me and wanted me back I didn't dare believe incase I got hurt again, I mean Amira was always around but now Sy… We're free. It can just be the two of us. Now come on and lie here with me for a bit. God, I can barely move after that. Not that I'm complaining." Syed laughed and snuggled up closer, they both dozed for a while the sweat drying on their bodies.
Christian woke first and just stared at Syed's sleeping form, careful of waking his lover he gently tucked a stray dark lock behind Syed's ear. Syed always looked most relaxed when he was sleeping he tended to be a worrier when awake. As Christian watched him he couldn't help but think again how glad he was that they got back on track. He'd really missed him when they'd been apart. This time nothing was going to come between them. He was going to make sure of it. There was no way his heart could stand to be torn out again. He carefully extracted his arm out from under Syed and reached for his jeans on the floor to get his mobile. He glanced at the screen. It was 8:30pm. Right, they were going out. He was so happy that they were back together and wanted to shout it from the rooftops, however cheesy that sounded but a club would just have to do.
"Sy… honey?" Christian gently stroked Syed's face to get him to wake. Slowly Syed's eyes opened until they were gazing into Christian's.
"Hey." He smiled. Syed yawned and sat himself up. "What time is it?"
"Half eight. God that sex nearly killed us. We've been out for a couple of hours. Not that I'm complaining." Christian laughed. "Sy, I know that you don't really like going out but I thought that we could maybe head to a club? I'm just really happy that we're back together and I want to show you off. Please." Christian did the best puppy dog eyes that he could muster.
Syed sighed. He really didn't want to go out. He just wanted to lie with Christian, talk and maybe make love again but Christian had taken him back when he thought that all hope was lost, they were back on track. There would be plenty of time to talk and make love and going out would make Christian happy, just like Christian had made him happy.
"Ok, let's go out but not R n R and let's get a shower first. I'm not going out wearing aftershave that smells of sweat and cum."
"Agreed, right then mister I better scrub your back and then you can do mine. We'll paint the town red." They leaned in for one more hug then got up to go and get ready.
They walked into the club. As soon as the heat and music hit them Syed grimaced. He was not a lover of clubs in the slightest and not only because he didn't drink. He hated the way people were when they got drunk. Some would get angry and start fights. He also hated the pumping music but one look at Christian's face, seeing the look of ecstasy and he knew that it was all worthwhile. Christian put his arm around his shoulder and guided him across the floor to the bar.
The bar tender looked up and Christian leaned across so that he could be heard. "One Budweiser and an orange juice please." The man got the drinks and took the money.
Christian took a sip of his drink and put it on the bar as a song started up. "Oh, I love this song. Dance?"
"Not yet, let me work up to it. You go though, have fun. I promise that I'll dance in a bit." Christian sauntered off to the dance floor as Syed sat at the bar. As he looked around he failed to notice a pair of blue eyes on him, watching him steadily. When the song ended Christian came back and put his arms around him then pecked him on the cheek. Neither of them saw the look of anger flash across one punter's face.
"Sorry babe, nature calls." Christian said into his ear to be heard. "Back in a bit."
"Old man bladder." Syed muttered with a fond smile. As Christian walked away Syed was unaware of a blond haired man making his way towards him a look of intent etched on his features.
As the stranger reached Syed and sat down on the empty stool beside him he smiled and turned to say hello. Syed smiled back. As soon as the stranger saw that beautiful smile he thought to himself. You are going to be mine no matter what.
Short chapter I know but I promise that it does pick up. Hopefully, it's worth continuing.
