Bart, Milhouse, Marge, and Lisa are at the Official Halloween Headquarters picking up some candy and costumes for Halloween. Marge reaches into her purse and gives them each a $50 bill.
Marge: Okay, while you three are picking out your costumes, I'll be in the treats aisle picking up the candies we need for the trick-or-treaters.
Milhouse: What do we do after that?
Marge: Meet me back here once ya'll are finished. And Bart?
Bart: Yes Mom?
Marge: I expect you to be well-behaved tonight while you're out trick-or-treating with Milhouse and Lisa.
Bart: Yes Ma'am.
The group then splits up. Marge goes into the "Treats" aisle while the kids go look for their costumes. As Lisa enters the "Girls" section, she pulls out two photos of fairy-tale princess characters.
Lisa: Let's see... Should I be Snow White or Red Riding Hood?
Bart and Milhouse are in the "Boys" section. Milhouse picks out a magician costume and waves the wand.
Milhouse: Abracadabra!
Bart shows up wearing a red inflatable suit.
Bart: Hey Milhouse, check this out!
Milhouse: (giggles) Heh heh. You look like one of those funny cartoon characters, Bart.
Bart: It's even funnier if you punch me in the gut.
Milhouse: Uh...I don't know, Bart.
Bart: C'mon Milhouse, it'll be like punching a balloon. Now give me your best shot!
Milhouse: (nervously) Okay.
Milhouse punches Bart in the stomach. The air inside Bart's costume cushions the blow.
Milhouse: Hey, that was fun. Can I punch you again Bart?
Bart: Be my guest.
Milhouse laughs as he repeatedly punches the costume. Bart laughs along with him. Over in the treats aisle, Marge is deciding on what candy to get.
Marge: Hmmm... Tootsie Rolls or Candy Corn?
Ned Flanders waves to Marge as he approaches her.
Ned: Hi-diddly-ho, Marge!
Marge: Oh hello Ned. Are you doing your Halloween shopping too?
Ned: (chuckles) No siree. I'm just here to pick up some carving kits for the Jack-o-lanterns the boys and I are doing tonight.
Marge: Oh. Say Ned, what kind of candy would you recommend I pick out tonight? Homer's been eating a lot of chocolate lately and I'm worried about a possible peanut allergy.
Ned grabs a bag of Dots Candy and hands it over to Marge.
Ned: How about these Dots? They're chewy and nut-free!
Marge: Good choice, but I'd rather prefer something a little less sugary.
Marge picks up a bag of Sugar-Free Gummy Bears.
Marge: I'll just go with these Gummy Bears since this is the only one Maggie likes.
Ned: Okily-dokily!
Marge returns to lobby to find Lisa, Milhouse, and Bart already in their selected costumes.
Marge: So, did you kids find the costumes you liked?
Milhouse: I'm going to be a magician!
Lisa: I'm Rapunzel!
Bart: And I'm Baron Von Puffy Cheeks!
Bart turns around and begins wiggling his "inflated" butt at Marge.
Marge: (angrily) Bart!
Bart: Sorry Mom.
Bart deflates his costume. The escaping air sputters and blows into Milhouse's face.
Lisa: Have you picked out the candy yet, Mom?
Marge: Well, I didn't want your father to eat anymore chocolates, so I got a pack of Gummy Bears to give out tonight.
Bart: Aww man, not the Gummy Bears!
Milhouse: My mom says Gummy Bears make a good substitute Bart. The rock candy isn't good for my teeth.
Marge checks her watch.
Marge: Well, there's still enough time before nightfall. Let's go check out and we'll stop by Krusty Burger on the way home.
Lisa: Alright Mom!
Milhouse: You're the best, Mrs. Simpson!
