Disclaimer:: I do not own Naruto. I only own the girl in this story, and the story itself.

The idea for this just popped into my head as I was getting ice cream. That happens a lot. Lol. Hope you like, please read my other stories!

Sorry for the cheesy-ness! I usually end my stories with Character Death, so even this sad ending is new to me.

Rain drops were heard as they lightly patted down onto the roof of a room. A boy and girl, lied in each others arms.

The girl takes in a deep breath, before opening her eyes slowly. How fitting, even the sky was weeping for what she had to do. Her eyes swept over her lover's face, tracing every line.

The boy's face was devoid of any kabuki make up, as it usually had on. Most of the time, he even wore it in his sleep.

No, he wasn't a boy. Not anymore. He was a man, now. A full eighteen years old. An adult. If anything, she, she, was the child in this equation. The variable that always seemed to change, and the solution changing with it.

The girl closed her eyes once more before using her elbows to push up off the bed. She couldn't stay here anymore. The Mizukage from the Village Hidden In The Mist was sending a scroll to the Hokage of the Sand, even as she quickly pulled her clothes over top of her body.

How she was allowed to stay in Suna, without telling the Kazekage her past, she wasn't sure. She had hidden successfully for two years. Two years before her former leader came to her and told her what he would tell the new Kage.

She felt her throat tighten up as she grabbed her bag, being careful not to wake up her lover as she opened a window. The object of her affection. Her lover. And the Kazekage's older brother.

No doubt, he would be the one that would be sickened the most. She couldn't bear to be there while shock, and disgust, swam over his face. Her past had not been a very pleasing one.

Walking slowly back over to the still sleeping figure, she bent over him, her long hair wisping past his face. Her lips gently embraced his in a loving, sweet kiss, before she turned around once more.

Even though she didn't want to leave, she had to. She'd be killed if she stayed any longer. She jumped out the window, and not a sound was heard as she landed on the tan sand.

Only a whisper was heard as she disappeared, never to be seen again in Suna.

"I love you, Kankurou."
