Hey Raisuke here, sorry about the long wait but a lot has happened in my life. Illness, college, lost chapters and general muse problems, I have two new stories that are B-sides to each other and this is one of them. This has been in the works for a while, having been rewritten four times so far. I hope you enjoy it.

-Chapter 1 Start-

The roar of a motorcycle engine pierced the din of the quiet Tokyo streets, unusually quiet for anyone who had ever been into Tokyo. The red light pouring from the headlamp gave an eerie glint to the road as the motorcycle raced around the city, destroying all that it could.

As it drove past the Osa-p jewellery store it gained an adversary.

The roar of a second engine punctuated the night, the squealing of the tyres added to the cacophony of the streets. It wasn't long before the first rider noticed it's opponent.

The other rider was female, that much was obvious, white hair just poked out from under her red helmet meshing well with her white two tailed coat and black trousers, a steel blade adorned with a skull and longer than she was tall was slung over her back.

The lead motorcycle let out an unearthly screech before suddenly accelerating, fire spitting from the exhaust as it went. The other motorcycle swiftly accelerated with a soft whine of its silenced engine as it kept pace with the leader.

The race quickly accelerated past the two hundred miles per hour mark, rapidly rising even still. They had attracted the attention of the local district police force and the flashing blue lights of the boys in blue began to follow behind them.

Another inhuman gurgle sounded from the lead motorcycle before it fired several dozen red and silver projectiles from its back at the following police.

Kunoji Yamato was a twenty four year old who had just successfully joined the police force, he had set himself up here in Minato ward, his only relative within Tokyo was living in the Nerima ward up to the North West. She was a martial artist of some sort, some weird Okonomiyaki based thing, it was so strange but that was Nerima.

He was currently working on the traffic division of the police and had received a call about an apparent motorcycle race. Him and several other officers had moved to pursue and were barely able to catch up with the pair.

It was when the lead rider launched something from it's back that it became apparent that it wasn't a normal rider. The other rider quickly slammed on her brakes the moment the things flew towards the police, dropping behind them before pulling out a massive pistol and shooting all the objects out of the sky, each exploding violently.

The other three high speed police cars all swerved at the explosions and were forced from the road, crashing into mailboxes and the like, somehow surviving the crashes, only the motorcycle and Yamato were left on the road.

It was only because of his experience with high level martial arts and because of the recent family reunion that he stayed on the road and only the dash cam would allow his story to be believed.

The motorcycle that had shot the explosives sped up again as the girl holstered her pistol, quickly catching up with the other bike which proceeded to cause giant red and black spikes to burst from the ground, which were dodged by the motorcycle and the above normal reactions of Yamato.

Next it tried to fire the explosives at her before she acted, lazily swatting then out of the sky with her sword, somehow wielding it easily with one hand. Pulling back her sword arm the blade gained an eerie ethereal red glow before the chase ended, she launched the sword forwards, letting go of it and allowing it to fly forwards, straight as an arrow before it embedded itself in the back of the other rider.

Both Yamato and the motorcycle braked hard with the girl leaping off instantly, pulling out her pistol she walked up to the downed rider. A shot rang through the night as she executed her target before she casually sheathed the pistol and her sword before turning to get back on her bike.

"Put your hands in the air and don't move or I will shoot." Yamato warned as he quickly got out of his car, his pistol drawn and aimed at the woman. He now was able to note how small she was, like a teenager.

"There are no laws against slaying demons." Came a distorted yet obviously female voice as she otherwise ignored him continuing to walk to her bike.

"Ma'am, put your arms in the air and step away from the bike or I will open fire." Yamato warned as he removed the safety from his gun. The woman continued to ignore him before putting a hand on her bike, he had to act.

Three shots rang into the night as he opened fire, only for the girl to swing her left arm forwards, catching all the bullets before dropping two to the ground. The final bullet she casually flicked from her hand causing it to fly towards Yamato. Ducking behind the car he waited before popping back up in time for the girl to drive off.

Jumping back into his car he turned the key but the car refused to start and looking out of the window he saw why, the bullet the girl had flicked had destroyed his engine, disabling his car. It was with a sigh that he picked up his receiver, thanking the Kami that the electrics still worked.

"Control, we have a problem." He said into the radio as he looked at the strange corpse that turned into ash before him and the camera, just turned into ash, bike and all.

It was going to suck, having to explain this.

Tsukino Ikuko was a proud woman, a good wife and a mother to two wonderful children, Tsukino Shingo was a ten year old boy, his hair was an ochre yellow and his eyes were a nice green. He was a bit of a brat but that was expected of a boy his age.

Her husband was Tsukino Kenji, a magazine editor with black hair and brown eyes. He was an incredibly upbeat man who took everything in stride. He couldn't cook to save his life but he was a dotting husband and father. It was her daughter though that both made her the most proud, yet also made her want to tear her hair out.

Tsukino Usagi was thirteen years old and a second year student at the Juuban Municipal Junior High School. She had snow white hair that was in a shoulder length mop headed style. Her eyes were a striking blue, just like her fathers.

She was a lazy girl, not giving much effort to anything other than... her night job. She was loud and uncouth with one heck of a mouth on her, her grades were only average and she was often given detention.

But she was still proud of her daughter, she couldn't say why but she was so proud. Personality wise and action wise Usagi was her father's daughter.

The television was on in the other room while she prepared breakfast, Shingo and Kenji were sitting in the room watching television, the news, Kenji's choice. It was because of this that Ikuko caught the news story.

"The terror of the roads was destroyed last night, destroyed after it was chased down and killed by an unknown female." The news reporter began. "The terror of the roads was a supposed motorcycle rider who had killed thirty people over the last week with its dangerous driving and projectiles."

"Last night police received reports of a race in progress through the streets of Minato at speeds exceeding two hundred miles per hour." The reporter continued as the three awake members of the household all turned their attention to the television. "Four high speed police cars were sent to pursue the pair only for the chase to become a scene of terror as The Terror fired explosives at the police officers which were protected by the female rider. The police have released these images from the dashboard camera of one of the officers."

The images were shocking to most who saw them but were mostly watched with near apathy by the members of the Tsukino household. "Fortunately there were no fatalities of any officers or bystanders, the female biker is currently wanted for questioning on firearms charges and traffic offences." The newscaster said before rounding up. "But is this the next in a growing trend, we have seen an increase in demonic activity across Tokyo and the police force has been struggling to keep up. The question on all our minds is should the police be interfering with the demon fighters and can we trust the police when they are so blatantly outclassed by a young vigilante. This has been Minamoto Yuka for Tokyo Metropolitan News."

"Someone's been busy." Shingo commented as he looked down at his Shonen Jump.

Looking into the kitchen at where she was about to prepare a traditional breakfast Ikuko shook her head. "I think this calls for pancakes." She commented getting an excited look from Shingo as she moved to get out the correct ingredients. "Shingo, can you go wake your sister, otherwise she'll be late for school." Receiving a nod in reply she moved to the kitchen.

Shingo was quick to move out of the room moving towards his sisters room, running up the stairs he reached the white door to his sleeping sister.

Her room was white, accented by various shades of cream, it avoided the clinical white of a hospital and didn't cause eye glare. The walls were decorated with pictures, from the entire Tsukino clan to pictures of Usagi next to a tall white haired man who was wearing a red two tailed coat.

The two pictures that took pride of place were the picture of the Tsukino clan and a photo of Usagi surrounded by people. Usagi was standing next to a girl, two years younger than her who was wearing a black two tailed coat, she had the same white hair and blue eyes.

Behind them was the white haired man with the red coat. To her right was another white haired man, this one was younger, looking to be around nineteen years old, he had his white hair in a mop like style with the same blue eyes as the rest. Next to him was a brown haired woman who had an incredibly kind smile on her face.

On her other side was two women, one wearing a black corset with long blond hair and next to her was a woman with short black hair and heterochromatic eyes. It was obviously a family scene, an entirely different family from the Tsukino family.

Looking towards the bed Shingo the saw the familiar mop of white hair that signified his sister who was just back from her summer away a few days ago. It was the first day of the new school term after all.

A holster sat on the bedside table next to her containing a mammoth sized pistol, more a small cannon than anything else. A .500 Smith and Wesson revolver, decorated by a pair of crescent moons.

Leaning against the cabinet was solid acoustic guitar case, it was quite innocuous almost as if something was hidden within.

It was with a suppressed chuckle Shingo approached the bed, slowly lowering his hand to the bed sheets, ready to pull.

He was stopped when the fist of Usagi's right arm collided with the top of his head, causing him to collapse to the ground clutching his injured noggin.

"Gaki, I just spent six weeks in a house with a man child, you stand no chance." The groggy girl said as she stretched her arm and put it behind her head. "Now get out, I'm changing." He beat a hasty retreat downstairs at that.

It was thirty minutes later that a now dressed Usagi made her way downstairs, she was dressed in her schools Seifuku uniform and her left arm was wrapped up in medical tape and in a sling. "Hey Kaa-san, Tou-san." Usagi said with a nod of her head before looking at her brother. "Gaki."

"Usagi-chan, did you sleep well?" Ikuko asked as she placed a stack of pancakes in front of the girl, along with some butter and syrup.

"Yep." Usagi replied while slathering some butter and syrup onto her breakfast.

"We saw your little late night escapade on the news." Ikuko said with a conversational tone. "Where'd you get the bike?"

"Morrison has a house here in Minato, he's allowed me to store some stuff there." She said with a shrug. "Dad gave me the bike and Morrison shipped it over for me."

"And the gun and the sword?" She asked as she handed over another plate of pancakes and some bacon to the girl.

"Gun was a gift from Nero and Dad gave me Rebellion after the Fortuna invasion." She shrugged. "I got them into the country using a coat Lady gave me, it's enchanted." She was obviously far more interested in the food rather than the conversation.

"Usagi-chan, I think it's time for school, you overslept again." Kenji said as he looked from his paper to the clock.

"Do I have to?" Usagi asked with a sigh, she only had five minutes to get to school.

"Yes you do Usagi." Ikuko said with a sigh. "Please try to listen in lessons."

"I'll try." Usagi promised before walking upstairs to get her stuff. It was two minutes later when she sauntered out of her house, the guitar bag and her actual bag slung over her shoulder and a white pair of headphones around her neck were blasting heavy metal.

Looking at her watch she shrugged as she saw she was late, it didn't bother her, not one bit. It was as she rounded the corner that she heard the yowling of a cat in pain. Poking her head around the corner into the nearby vacant lot she came on a sight that made her blood boil, and not in the good way.

Three boys were crowded around a black cat, each holding a wooden stick and hitting it, they suddenly stopped when one of the boys spoke. "Hey guys, did you know that if you pull a cats tail hard enough it'll fall off." The other boys both laughed sadistically at that and the third boy reached for the cats tail.

Pain erupted in the boys hand as it broke from the rock thrown by the white haired girl. "Oi Kozo, if I ever see any of you three touch an animal ever again I will introduce you to the ground and trust me, your relationship will be intimate." She said as the three boys ran away in fear, leaving the injured cat alone in the lot.

Walking up to it she looked it over, it was struggling to pull itself from the ground and looked stuck between trying to get fuss from the girl or running in terror, that was normal, she had her grandfather's aura after all, the species aura scared all animals yet the nature of the aura showed that they meant no harm completely confusing any animals she met.

"You all right little kitty? " She asked as she looked down at the cat which attempted to walk and collapsed. "I guess not." She muttered before picking the cat up and placing it in her sling, on top of her bandaged arm. "I think there's a vets a few blocks away, I'll take you there." She told the animal that seemed to be getting comfortable.

It was after about ten minutes strolling that she arrived at the vets, wandering in to the empty room, the only person being the secretary. "Hey is the vet free?" Usagi asked rather abruptly.

Looking up at the girl the secretary scowled slightly at the tone. "Shouldn't you be in school?" The woman asked, some bite in her tone.

"I thought it was supposed to be the animals that had claws, not the secretaries." Usagi responded with a raised eyebrow. "Anyway, some kids were torturing this cat and I thought I had better save it rather than let them yank it's tail off and being the good samaritan I am I decided to bring it to the vets to be checked over." She said while gesturing to the injured cat that was relaxed on her arm.

"You can come through." A female voice sounded from the back. "I have half an hour until my next appointment. Shizune, work on your people skills or you may be looking for a new job." This caused the secretary to growl and glare at the snow haired girl.

With a smirk she walked around the desk to get to the backroom where she got her first view of the vet. She was a petite woman in her thirties, with blue hair in a bob, her eyes were a mellow brown and she gave off a kind aura.

As she stepped into the room the dog in the corner let out a soft whine and hid behind a cabinet to escape the girls aura. "My name is Mizuno Kasumi." The vet introduced herself, not noticing the dogs reaction. "I heard you had an injured cat."

"Tsukino Usagi." She introduced herself, only polite thing she could do. "Yeah I found some kids torturing the poor thing and saved it" Usagi said before carefully picking up the cat from her arm and placing it on the examination table.

It was after about ten minutes of the vet examining the cat and talking sweetly to it that she looked up at Usagi. "I will need to do some scans to check her injured leg but otherwise she should be fine." Kasumi explained. "I should be done in two hours including my scheduled appointments. What do you wish to have done with her, I checked and she lacks a microchip so unless someone is looking for her she is a stray. She can either go home with you or be sent to a cat shelter, it's up to you."

"I think I'll take her home." Usagi said as she reached her right arm forwards to scratch the cats head, eliciting a purr. "I have to go to school now, can you keep her until afterwards?"

"Sure I can." The vet said with a small smile. "She'll be here waiting for you, I'll even throw in a food and water bowl."

"Cool I'll see you after school." Usagi said as she gave the cat one last scratch before walking from the room and finally heading to school.

She had finally got to school and after hopping the locked gate she made her way up to her classroom. Roughly opening the door she strolled into the quiet class that was shocked by the sudden intrusion, the teacher recovered first. "Usagi!" The teacher said loudly

"Yes Haruna-sensei." She said with a smirk, her music still blaring from her headphones.

"Go stand outside the door." She ordered the girl who merely shrugged and walked out the door.

Leaning against the wall she took the time to pull an onigiri from her lunch to snack on.

"Usagi!" Her sensei yelled as she poked her head out to look at the girl, finding her lounging and eating rather than standing to attention.

"Yes Haruna-sensei?" She asked with another smirk.

Gritting her teeth she pointed into the room and spat out an order. "Get to your seat."

She sauntered to the empty seat next to Umino, dropping her bags she ignored the guy who usually tried to clumsily hit on her, she didn't date whimps, they couldn't survive her lifestyle. She flipped up her headphones and kicked back in her seat, ignoring the angry look on her face she closed her eyes and listened to her music.

She actually fell asleep, further enraging her sensei. But she kept her mouth shut, she had never been able to punish Usagi, the girl would ignore her, skip detentions, she would be late rather regularly, she was maddening.

It was one and a half hours later that the lesson ended, the bell for morning break sounded and Usagi was woken up by a small hand shaking her shoulder.

The hand belonged to Naru, Usagi's best friend. No one knew why they were friends, they were opposites, one studious, one a delinquent, one girly, one a tomboy, one polite, one coarse. It was a friendship that looked set to fail, but amazingly it didn't.

They got on great, Naru was a highly tolerant person, able to take the crude humour with a smile and a shake of her head. Usagi was highly protective of Naru, having saved her from bullies and gangs, muggers and rapists. It was known she was the daughter of a jewellery store owner so she was a target for gangs, her family was incredibly well off, the majority of their wealth being solid and for sale.

They just worked, friends since they were six when a six year old Usagi punched a ten year old bully in the face, a bully who was teasing Naru for her bright red hair. Neither were in trouble as the bully refused to admit he was punched out by a six year old. This and many other circumstances led to their strong friendship.

Back to the present, Naru shook the shoulder of the snow haired girl, causing her eyes to creep open slowly as she took in the person attempting to awaken her, eyes snapping open at the sight of Naru. "Sup." She said, popping the p.

"Good morning Usagi-chan." Naru said pleasantly as she looked at the girl. "I almost thought you were going to miss today."

"Saved a cat from being tortured by a bunch of brats, it made me late." She said as she swung her legs from on top of the desk to the ground and stood up. "I'm gonna go pick it up later, it actually likes me."

"Isn't Shingo scared of cats?" Naru asked, shaking her head at Usagi's smirk at being reminded of that. "That's just mean Usagi-chan." She chastised before it was ruined by her smile that broke onto her face.

"I know right, but the little snot keeps breaking into my room when I leave, it'll be good to have a deterrent." Usagi said as she slipped her bags onto her back. "I'm hungry, let's go see if anyone's selling."

"Sure Usagi. You're just ruled by your stomach aren't you?" Naru asked receiving a massive grin in return.

It was fifteen minutes later that they were sat by a tree, Naru surrounded by a gaggle of gossiping girls and Usagi lounging in a tree while munching on some American style potato chips.

"Did any of you hear about Sailor V?" One of the girls asked the group with a giggle, Usagi struggled to think of her name, usually calling her giggly girl number one. "She stopped a jewellery store robbery last night."

"Who's Sailor V?" Naru asked the girl... Yumi something.

"She's a crime fighter who protects love and justice." The girl replied... Yumiko that's it, Usagi snapped her fingers as she remembered. "She fights crime while wearing such a cute outfit. I'm her biggest fan."

"Looks weak." Usagi commented from the tree as she looked at the picture, reminding most of the girls of her presence. "Easy on the eyes though." She admitted causing a few girls to edge away from her.

"I think I prefer the vigilante I saw on the news this morning, she killed that biker demon with no loss of life." Naru said with a shrug, causing Usagi to gain a smirk on her face. "She drove past my house when she was chasing it."

"But she was totally uncute and she attacked the police." Yumiko responded with an abashed look on her face.

"She didn't attack until she was fired at and even then she only disabled a car then left." Naru defended, Usagi's smirk turning momentarily into a genuine smile at Naru's defence but turned back into a smirk as the girl continued. "Her outfit is fashionable but isn't designed to be cute, it's designed to scream bad ass. It's basically something Usagi would wear."

"I could definitely see Usagi doing something like this." One of the other girls muttered, just loud enough to be heard. "The only reason I know it isn't her is because this one's not a cripple." She muttered in reference to Usagi's bound arm.

Immediately the group went silent, deathly silent, so silent it became awkward. Naru was actually glaring at the girl, the other girls unsure of how to act. It was broken by a snort from Usagi. "Better a cripple than a bitch." Was her cutting response, almost cutting the girl down at the knees.

"Usagi, I think we should go to class before we're late." Naru said a hint of danger in her tone.

"Whatever." Usagi said before pouring the crumbs from her potato chips into her mouth before crushing the pack in her hand and throwing it away, impacting with the insulter. "Let's go." She said as she jumped from the tree, grabbing her bags she sauntered off after the enraged red head, leaving the group of girls silent under the tree.

"What the hell Sayuri?" Yumiko hissed to the girl. "That was completely uncalled for."

"I'm sorry I just don't like that girl." She replied as she glared at the girls back. "I don't know why but I hate her."

"Why Sayuri? She's not my favourite person in the world but she's a good person. She may be crass and a stereotypical delinquent but she's a nice enough girl." Yuka asked from next to her.

"I just don't know guys, I just don't know." Sayuri responded with a shake of her head.

Meanwhile with Usagi and Naru, they were silent as Naru simmered, she finally broke the silence. "I just can't understand why she said that, I thought we were all friends."

"Friends is a strong word, it was more like we tolerated each other for your sake." Usagi cut in from behind her. "We were just far too different to ever be true friends, our natures are just too different."

"But I'm like them, are you saying that our personalities are too different?" Naru asked her eyes narrowing slightly.

"Personalities and natures are different things." Usagi said with a shake of her head. "Personalities are the sum of our experiences and memories, our natures are our defining points that determine how we see the world and react to it. It's our aggression, our willpower, our intelligence, our pride, our friendliness and so much more."

"Our personalities can sometimes override our natures but that generally only happens after years or trauma." She continued. "Your nature is different from your friends, you have a deeply ingrained kindness and a will of steel, you will never abandon someone who hasn't betrayed you and you will implicitly trust anyone who proves themselves."

"Is that really what you think of me?" Naru said with a certain amount of shock.

"Yup, you have a similar nature to my cousins fiancée, Kyrie." Usagi admitted completely seriously before changing the subject. "So... do you want to come with me to pick up my cat."

"Sure." Naru said as she shook her head to regain the composure she had lost. "We'll go after school."

"Oh she's so cute." Naru gushed as she cradled the cat in her arms, scratching it on the head. "How could anyone be mean to a cutie like you?"

They had just collected the black cat from the vets, her front leg was apparently only bruised and she would be walking by that night. Usagi was currently carrying two cat bowls, her music was blaring softly from around her neck. She was currently a bit edgy, her blood was boiling, like a group of demons were nearby. This was normally something she would welcome but Naru was close to her, she would be in danger, she for once hoped the demons would pass them by.

Unfortunately this wasn't the case as they rounded the corner, standing in front of the pair was ten creatures. They were of average size, about the size of Usagi, they appeared to be made of burlap sacks bulging with insects, making it look similar to that white creature from a movie she saw when she was younger... Oogie Boogie that was it. They had giant executioners blades on their arms and wooden pegs for feet.

"It's only scarecrows." Usagi sighed in relief as Naru let out a small scream at the sight, causing the scarecrows to notice them and began to shamble towards them, gaining speed and stability as they went.

Suddenly Usagi dashed forwards, dumping her bags on the ground and dropping the metal cat bowls which clanged as they impacted with the ground. "Usagi!" Naru yelled in fear as her friend charged the demons.

As the first demon reached the charging girl it performed an overhead strike towards the girl who stepped to the side, the blade slamming into the ground harmlessly. Her right arm shot out, grabbing the blunt edge of the blade before her left leg shot out, slamming into the stomach area of the scarecrow, ripping the blade from its arm before it flew backwards and slammed into the other charging demons, making them stumble.

Jumping forwards she slammed the blade into the first recovering scarecrow, ripping its side open, bugs pouring from the wound as it deflated. 'Two down.' The other scarecrows had recovered and had jumped backwards to escape the girl and prepare.

Unfortunately for them Usagi decided to attack them from where she stood, spinning around she launched the blade which resembled a buzz saw as it flew, going straight down the centre of the line, slicing through the scarecrows killing them all before the blade embedded itself in the wall at the end of the street.

Turning to look back at Naru she noted the pure shock on Naru's face with some amusement, even more when she saw that even the cat had its mouth open in shock, now that was impressive. "Naru, you may want to close your mouth unless you want to catch flies." Usagi said with her smirk, this was fun.

"Usagi, what was that?" Naru asked as she looked at the creatures that were burning to ash under the sunlight.

"Those were scarecrows, D-class cannon fodder in the demon world." She answered with a shrug. "Loads of them appear out where my cousin lives so a large number of people know how to kill large groups of them."

"But Usagi, that was amazing." She gushed, the fear having left her.

"It really wasn't Naru, I could have you doing that within a month." Usagi said with a shrug. "Those things were weak and slow."

"Usagi just accept my praises, you usually have no problem doing that." Naru demanded of the white haired girl.

"I want my ego stoked by doing impressive things, not killing scarecrows." She groused. "Dad would laugh at me if I thought killing scarecrows was impressive."

"I'm sorry if what's impressive for us mere normal people isn't impressive to the bad ass incarnate that you are." Naru snarked back.

"Now you're speaking my language." Usagi replied with a giant grin. "Now let's get back to my house." She said as she swung her bags back over her back.

Neither noticed the cogs turning in the cats head as it looked at the snow haired girl. 'I think I need to talk to Artemis about this.'

Luna sighed as she jumped into the window of her new 'owner', she had been introduced to the family where she had been cooed over by the mother, the father smiled at her and scratched the top of her head and the boy had slowly edged from the room.

That night her owner, Usagi had left the house with her guitar case and had walked to another house where she changed into a new outfit with a red helmet and drove off on a motorcycle. Luna then made her way to the arcade that held her base and tracked Usagi using the computer, watching as she killed twelve demons that were trying to break their way into an orphanage to kill all those inside, saving the children. Then she drove to the motorway and killed three dozen flying demons that had begun firing on motorists.

Then she had drove around for a few hours before driving back to the house and changing and walking back home.

Luna was shocked at what this thirteen year old was capable of, so much that she had to call Artemis to confer with him. It was her first call to him in six months and they had to come up with a plan.

The Dark Kingdom was moving, they had been moving in England and Artemis had been lucky to find one of the Senshi but they hadn't found anyone else. Artemis and Venus had found evidence that the Dark Kingdom was changing their target to Tokyo, they had nearly run out of time, they needed to buy more.

That was what had pushed forward this risky strategy, they needed to do it but it was a risk. A great risk to their entire defence operation, it needed to work, it had to.

"Well hello there kitty-cat, how are you doing?" Usagi said giving the cat a scratch on the head. It was then that Luna noticed that her left arm was unwrapped, it was enough to give Luna chills.

The arm was scaled, literally covered in blue and purple scales, the under side of the clawed hand was a brilliant white, the white stretched up the arm shining from between the scales.

The girl obviously noticed the cats gaze and decided to explain it for some reason. "You're wondering about this aren't you?" She said as she shook her arm. "This is the Devil Bringer, the proof of my heritage. I'm part devil you see, my Grandfather was the devil Sparda."

For some reason that name niggled at the back of Luna's mind, she just couldn't remember why. "Sparda was the lieutenant of the Devil God Mundus, his second in command, but something happened. No one knows why, but the legends go that one day Sparda woke up to justice and turned on his kin, fighting the demons for the sake of humanity and sealed the demon world away at the cost of the majority of his power." Usagi continued as the niggling in Luna's mind increased in intensity. "Thousands of years later he settled down and had a family, becoming the father of two identical twin boys, Vergil and Dante. Needless to say Dante is my father, one of the greatest and most bad ass of the world's demon hunters and guardians. One day I'll be even better."

Luna had listened to the story, she had listened and had only detected the truth, she had listened to the story of Sparda and had only felt the truth of the story in her own mind. So when she had an opening she took a leap of faith. "So what should we call you little kitty?"

"My name is Luna." The moment those words left the her mouth Usagi reacted, her human hand immediately shot to her bedside table, whipping up a gargantuan pistol and pointing it straight into Luna's face. "Stop I mean no harm." Luna yelled in fear.

"What are you? You don't feel like a demon so what type of magical creature are you?" She demanded as she removed the safety from her pistol.

"I'm a Mau, also known as a Moon Cat or a Faerie Cat." Luna said as she stared down the barrel of the gun. "I'm one of only two Mau left in the world, I need to tell you my story for you to understand."

Glancing around the room she nodded before lifting her demon arm which began to glow white at the palm. Two white spider web patterns formed over the door and window trapping the pair in the room before Usagi sat down on her bed, the gun by her side. "Talk, but if you lie, and I will know if you do, I'll find out how many lives you have compared to a house cat."

"My name is Luna, I was born roughly one thousand years ago but spent the majority of the time in stasis so it becomes a bit... murky. Unfortunately my kind does not take well to stasis and most of my memories are scattered, they're still there it just takes a while to dreg them up. So if I cannot answer something straight away that will be why." She explained to the girl who gave a sharp nod. "One thousand years ago a vast empire spanned the solar system and beyond, ruled from the moon. The silver millennium the time was called, it was a group of humans who had thrived, using a mix of magic and technology they left the earth and set themselves up on the moon and thrived for a full millennium, colonising the rest of solar system."

"Each planet set up their own aristocracy, each separate yet subservient to the Moon Queen. Eventually the Lunar Kingdom set forth and began to visit other solar systems, meeting dozens of other races and setting up dozens of colonies."

"After a few hundred years the Queen came up with a way of creating defenders of the empire, super weapons. The aristocracy of each planet had the strongest magic, a specific magic called Silver Energy. It was generated by a connection to the planet and the aristocracy had the strongest connection due to the lost arts." Luna was actually shocked at how quickly her memories were returning, more had returned in the last two minutes than had in the previous year.

"She figured out a method of fully tying the core of the recipient to the magic of the planets. They became the first of the Senshi, the Sailor Scouts, the defenders of the empire. Towards the end of Silver Millennium things went wrong."

"The members of the original country that had stayed behind had thrived, creating a country that spanned most of Asia. They had a policy of non-interference with the rest of the world but they were known worldwide for their intelligence and utopian society.

"The Kingdom called themselves the Earth Kingdom and they had kept a strained relationship with their lunar cousins but they were on the verge of agreeing to include Earth in the Lunar Empire. It was helped though by the Prince of the Earth and the Princess of the Moon fell in love."

"Finally, Beryl a noble of Earth who had originally been the next in line to marry the Prince of Earth grew jealous of the Moon Princess who now held the marriage contract of the Earth Prince. She left Earth to the dark reaches of space to get away."

"No one knows what had happened, suddenly colonies and friendly alien civilisations began to disappear, slowly and surely the Empire began to crumble." Luna took a deep breath here as the knowledge was painful to her. "Suddenly on the night of the official Ball to celebrate Earths inclusion into the Lunar Empire the enemy struck."

"Beryl had solicited the aid of a devil, she became a servant of it and with armies of creatures she smashed through the lunar fleet and attacked the Moon catching everyone by surprise. The Senshi were killed by Beryl and her Youma allies and to the heartbreak of the Queen so was her daughter, using her power she took the souls of her Senshi and her daughter and threw them into the future to be reincarnated before sealing away the Dark Kingdom, Beryl's Kingdom and sealed away the Devil that had aided her. Me and my friend Artemis were the two Mau who had been chosen to be the royal advisors and as such we were placed in stasis until the Senshi were ready to awaken once more, when the Dark Kingdom began to break free."

"So the devil that led to the fall of your civilisation is breaking free, what does that have to do with me?" Usagi asked her eyebrow raised.

"The Dark Kingdom are beginning to return, they are able to get a small number of agents through which are attempting to hasten the degradation of the seal. Artemis and I have been searching for the Senshi to aid us in stopping the Dark Kingdom but we have only found one Senshi out of them all. She has been combating operations within England but we were able to secure confirmation that they were moving their operations to Tokyo." Luna explained.

"So you need my help because you can't find your Senshi things..." Usagi guessed receiving a nod from the cat. "So a potential end of the world scenario with a devil level demon pulling the strings. Sounds fun." Looking at the Mau she picked up her pistol, flipping the safety on. "You never lied, so either you're telling the truth or you are so deluded that you believe it, either way I should help, just in case."

"Thank you Usagi, thank you so much." Luna said, relief flooding through her system. "You won't regret this, I thank you."

"It's okay, but how are we going to find these Youma you mentioned?" Usagi asked as she removed the shields from the window and door.

"I have something that might work." Luna said getting excited. "The Queen left me the transformation pens of the Senshi and a few more items in a subspace pocket, she said to follow my instincts on how I use them and my instincts are saying that this one will help us." She said before she back flipped.

The object that appeared was a brooch, it was disk shaped with a crescent moon and a pink jewel in the top, it had four small circular prongs, each containing a jewel. The brooch fell to the bed where it was pushed forwards by Luna. "This brooch, my instincts are telling me it will help."

Reaching forward she picked up the brooch running it around her right hand before placing it in her left. The result was instantaneous, the brooch glowed upon contact with the Devil Bringer, turning into a ball of light before being absorbed into the arm, new knowledge streaming into Usagi's mind.

Lifting her arm she caused it to glow a bright white before it faded, her outfit had changed with it. She was wearing her white two tailed coat somehow, she knew it was hers because it had her filled extended pockets. Her clothes underneath were a mix of red tinted black clothing and various belts strapped to seemingly random points on her body. Her face was unrecognisable, literally, to anyone who didn't know her face wouldn't be recognised, they could see her face and know her face, but would never be able to identify it, same with her voice. Adorning her face though were a pair of sunglasses, they weren't gaudy but sleek, with half rim frames.

"Amazing." Luna said in awe as she looked at the girls new form. "This is simply amazing." Suddenly the sunglasses began to beep before an image appeared, it was of Naru, a demon trying to grab her and missing.

Cursing she immediately grabbed her pistol, shrugging off the coat and attaching the pistol and putting the coat back on. Going over to her guitar case she unzipped it revealing the handle of her sword which she immediately attached to her back.

Moving to her window she pulled it open and prepared to jump out. "Wait what's happening?" Luna asked.

"A demon is attacking Naru, I have to save her." Usagi responded before leaping out the window, quickly followed by the black cat.

Osa-p was the jewellery store owned by the Osaka family, ran by Naru's mother Mayumi. Recently her mother had been acting strange, she had suddenly had a new shipment of jewellery which she was almost desperate to get rid of, creating a massive sale with ridiculously high price cuts.

'She must have some form of business plan.' Naru mused before shaking her head, she didn't really need this right now. 'Usagi was amazing today, she destroyed ten demons like it was child's play and thought that it was nothing special.'

Stretching slightly she looked at the clock, noticing that it was eight pm. 'I had better check on Mama.' Walking down the stairs into the main shop she poked her head around the door to see her mother standing in the centre of the room.

"Mama, are you coming up for dinner yet?" She asked as she walked into the room only to have the air knocked out of her as she was slammed into the wall, a pair of hands wrapping around her throat. "Mama?" She asked in confusion before the woman's face began to change.

She gained inhuman qualities, her skin tightening against her face, her eyes changing, her irises becoming a sickening yellow and the whites of her eyes turned a horrifying black. Her teeth all sharpened and became pointed just as her fingernails became pointed. Her tongue also lengthened becoming triangular and dangling slightly from her mouth. "I'm not your mother girl." It said as she tightened her hands around Naru's throat.

'Quick Naru, what would Usagi do?' Naru thought to herself before an idea came to her mind. Sucking in slightly she spat straight into the eye of the creature, causing it to rear back hissing as it dropped the girl.

Gulping in air she threw herself to the side, dodging the creatures lunge. She quickly pushed herself up to her feet in time to jump to the side, dodging the overhead swipe which smashed into the security case setting off the alarm.

'Now I only have to survive until the police arrive.' Naru thought as the demon smashed another case sending jewellery clattering across the ground.

They kept this up for several minutes, one attacking, one dodging. The shop was wrecked, smashed beyond all recognition by the time the creature had caught Naru, once more grabbing her throat before levelling her nails to the girls eyes. "This is the end little brat." Was all it had to say before it pulled it's hand backwards and lunged forwards, aiming to mutilate the girls eyes.

Before the blow could land however a gunshot rang through the store and the creature jerked to the side, falling to the ground with a hole in its head. The smell of gunpowder filled the air as a massive hand cannon came onto view. "I am not going to let you do that." The figure spat, her face seeming familiar yet unrecognisable.

That snapped Naru out of her daze, allowing her to run behind the figure, even as the demon stood up, the bullet falling from the wound in her head. "Damn you're ugly." The figure mocked while holstering the massive gun and pulling the sword from her back.

"Who are you?" The demon demanded as she glared at the figure who had dared to attack her, ignoring her instincts telling her to flee.

"Me?" She asked as she pointed the blade at the creature. "You can call me Shiroi Akuma."

"White Devil?" The creature asked, ignoring the sirens that had gradually increased in volume as police officers arrived. "I'll show you a real devil." She declared before leaping forwards, receiving a fist to the gut for her troubles, smashing into the other wall even as SAT officers burst into the store, their guns trained on both the figure and the demon.

"Freeze and put your hands in the air." The officers screamed as they entered, red dots trailing over everyone.

"You a devil? You're barely D-rank fodder let alone a devil!" She taunted her arm glowing lightly as a white, spider web-like shield formed in between Naru and the officers to protect her from any gunfire.

"Put the weapons on the ground and your hands in the air or we will open fire." The lead officer shouted in warning as the safeties were removed, but they were ultimately ignored. "Open fire."

The next few seconds were filled with gunfire as the volley was opened on the two figure causing sprays of blood to fly through the wrecked store before silence descended. Naru was terrified, she was physically fine, the bullets were all stopped by the shield, but she had just seen the SAT open fire on her saviour, the next words both lifted her spirits and scared her. "Y'know, if I was human that might have worked." She admitted as the bullets popped out of her skin, the wounds healing and leaving flawless skin. "But you are nowhere near ready to fight demons."

"What the fuck?!" The captain shouted in fear, his gun clicked as he tried to fire without ammo.

"There's a reason I do this and you don't." She said simply as she strolled forwards and bisected the still recovering demon, ignoring the reporters who had arrived and were recording everything. "You all stick with humans and their crimes, leave demons to the people actually trained to fight them." She dismissed, her arm glowing and dispelling the shield around Naru before launching her arm forward, an ethereal hand stretching from her and latching onto the building opposite before dragging her through the air to it where she disappeared over the roof leaving the police and reporters speechless.

"Kami." Naru whispered in relief, glancing at the demon corpse which fell to dust... 'That was you, wasn't it Usagi? She felt like you and had the same protective aura as you... your secret is safe with me.'

"That was amazing Usagi." The black cat raved as she jumped after the girl as she sprinted across several rooftops. She finished by dropping down into an empty alleyway, her devil bringer flashing and replacing her clothes with a generic white spaghetti strap top, black jacket and jeans, her arm back up in a sling and her weapons out of sight.

"It really wasn't Luna, that was only fodder." Usagi disagreed as she casually strolled out of the alley, Luna climbing into her sling as she went. Several police cars screamed past, obviously trying to catch her alter ego, that caused her to smirk. "I usually have to fight groups as large as twenty of that level of demon, those scarecrows from earlier were each the same level... although I will admit she was far more intelligent than a demon of her class should be."

"That was a Youma not a demon." Luna informed the girl with a whisper. "I remember whispers of them being like demons but not..."

"Don't pop a gasket trying to remember, it's no big deal." Usagi responded with a shrug. "We'll take it as it comes."

"We can't just go into this without a plan, these monsters destroyed the entire Lunar Empire we need to prepare." Luna hissed back, annoyance clear on her face. "That would only lead us to ruin."

"We have a basic plan and I have contacts I can use." Usagi replied, glaring at some boys who were coming out of an alley... they ran away. "You need to find those Senshi things, I need to hunt and stop these Youma. Just focus on finding plots and fighters, I can get some info from my contacts, that should be a good start."

"That is a very basic plan, we need to do more to track them." The cat responded, shaking her head.

"You said you had a partner who was doing this in London, didn't you?" Usagi asked receiving a small nod in return. "Well ask him how he did it." She answered causing the cat to look startled at such an easy and simple answer. "It's no big deal, it looks like my sunglasses can pick up on any uncloaked Youma so I can stop them like that, I just want to see if you can help me stop them before they reach that stage."

"But what if we can't stop them and the seal breaks." Luna asked, suddenly quieter and nervous.

"Then I'll kick all their asses." She replied with a smirk before looking the cat in the eye. "But you're the one telling my parents."

-Chapter 1 end-

I always felt that Naru had figured out Sailor Moons identity, that's why I added that part.
