Here's to another drabble, the difference from the last one being that this one actually is a drabble (If someone could tell me where the infamous misconception originates from, that would be great.).

At the Trading Post
"'Scuse me, how much is this?"
The gritty shopkeeper turns away from his television, his wandering eyes settle on a specter with a red gem. A smile grows upon his sketchy face.
"Ahh, kekeke! An excellent choice," says Kecleon, anticipating a sale.
"Oh? How so?"
"Why, it's pure ruby for starters! The purest you'll find for miles, I swear. Want it wrapped?"
Sableye pauses, inspecting the jewel and its properties. He skips to the true test and takes a bite out of it. The shopkeeper's heart stops.
"Hm.. Do you have anything in a deeper shade of red, preferably non-imitation?"
