Magic surrounded the mage as he transported himself from one world to another, feather in hand, ready to face his fate. He could only hope that the itch could not surpass him in power, else everything would fall to pieces... just like him.

"Kill the witch's pawn" The man had said. He had no idea who this "witch's pawn"may be, but he knew he was going to meet the princess and the clone. As he landed the first thing he saw was the clone - he could tell by the boy's magical signature - and the princess, lying lifeless in his arms. Past them was a man in dark clothing crouching to the ground. Wearing all black - it must be the one he was sent to kill. Strange, he didn't look like the witch's pawn at all... if anything he seemed confused. Perhaps he did not know he was the witch's pawn? What a shame he had to die, he looked as if he had something yet to do. Then he saw her - she stood there in all her glory, looking at them all with just a hint of compassion as the four travelers stood in the rain. She was perfect. Why wasn't she getting wet? A faint memory came to mind - something about magic, something that man had said, but the way she looked at him, it seemed she knew everything about him already. His curse, his mission, his truth. But how could she know such a thing and yet not be able to surpass him? His curse hadn't activated... but wait... she wasn't getting wet! The witch was in an alternate dimension, right before his eyes! Suddenly it hit the magician, this was what "Hitsuzen" really was.

"Hello, witch-san." Was all he could say, as he flashed her a smile.
