So, I felt the need to write this short scene after how devastated I felt following last night's episode. This takes place right where the show left off. I hope you enjoy it!

When Sean closed his apartment door after excitedly telling Sue all about his Fellowship in Ghana, the smile on Sue's face instantly vanished. She covered her face with her hands and slid down the hallway wall until she reached the floor. That's when the tears started flowing. She was finally prepared to tell Sean how she felt about him, but she wasn't expecting this. Sure, she loved seeing Sean being happy, but she wished that the joy she saw on his face was because of her. Suddenly she heard the sound of the deadbolt unlocking and turned her head to see the doorknob slowly turning. She wiped her face with her red sweater, hoping to hide the fact that she had been crying.

"Suzy Q?" Sean asked her, his voice filled with concern as he stepped out of his apartment. Upon noticing the red streaks on her face when she looked up at him, he leaned back into his apartment and grabbed a box of tissues that he had on a shelf near the door. He held it out to her and she pulled out a handful of tissues. Sean sat down on the floor next to her and put his hand on her's. "What's wrong?" He asked her gently, as if trying not to startle her.

"It's nothing...it's just...I'm fine...I'm just happy for you. Ghana!" She lied. Sean raised an eyebrow and tilted his head, knowing that she wasn't telling the truth.

"You...uh...don't look happy." He said with a sympathetic half smile. While he felt badly that she was upset, he also felt hopeful that she didn't want him to leave.

"Okay, I'm not." Sue said. She exhaled sharply, bracing herself once again for the truth.

"So...what is it then?" Sean asked. He noticed he was still touching her hand and almost instinctively pulled away, but instead, he squeezed her hand gently. Sue looked down at their hands and then looked up into his eyes.

"Sean...I..." she began to say but then she stopped. Instead, she quickly leaned forward and kissed him briefly. She felt him suck in air in surprise and she swiftly pulled away. She saw the look of surprise on his face and couldn't tell if he was happy or horrified. "Oh my God, I'm so sorry...I should go" She stammered as she got up off of the floor and prepared to flee for the exit. She didn't make it very far before she felt a familiar hand on hers, spinning her around and she slammed into Sean's chest. Her purse fell to the floor and the snow globe slowly rolled into view. "What?" Sean muttered to himself as he saw the familiar object, but he brushed off the confusion before leaning in to kiss Sue passionately. He broke away after a few moments and rested his head on her forehead, breathing heavily.

"I don't ever want to hear you apologizing for kissing me." Sean said with a serious tone.

"Okay." Sue replied quietly before he kissed her again. Sean pulled her even closer and bent his knees briefly to pick her up. Sue giggled in surprise and promptly pressed her lips back against his. Sean carried her toward his apartment door while they kissed when Sue gasped and pulled away. "Wait!" She said as she pointed at her purse and the snowglobe on the floor. Sean set her back down on the floor and laughed as she hopped over to her things to collect them. Just as quickly she returned to him and jumped into his arms. Sean kissed her again and backed the two of them into his apartment, kicking the door shut behind them.
