My child it is time to awaken. Dragons have appeared in Skyrim once more. Rise my champion!
Water. Ayla could feel water surrounding her as she came to her senses. Slowly, she opened her eyes only to look up into the sky of Moonshadow. Such a beautiful realm, peaceful as well and no human will ever see it. Standing, water cascaded down her nude form only to join the lake. Ayla walked to the edge and once stepping on land her body, and hair instantly became dry. As if she never was in the water to begin with. Taking in her surroundings Ayla saw a nearly transparent robe hanging on a tree branch. Gracefully she walked over slipping the robe on. A slight breeze enveloped her, causing a peaceful smile to grace her face. Letting out a soft sigh, Ayla began to head towards where her mother was.
"How long have I been sleeping I wonder..." Ayla lightly tapped her chin in thought. Before she could guess she felt the presence of her mother. Out of habit Ayla bowed, "Hello Azura." Feeling Azura's hand on her shoulder, Ayla lifted her head.
"You do not have to bow to me child. You are my daughter, and champion." Azura placed her fingers under Ayla's chin and gently made her rise, "It has been a hundred years since you fell asleep, but now I need you." Turning around Azura began walking knowing that Ayla would follow, "Dragons have risen in Skyrim with Alduin as their leader. I'm sending you to help, but also be careful. A war between Stormcloaks and the Legion is waging. Do your best to stay out of it, your only concern is Alduin. Understand Ayla?"
Taking in all the information Ayla nodded, "I understand." Seeing Azura smile, Ayla made a move to leave when Azura placed a light kiss on her forehead. Feeling her mark tingle Ayla smiled and continued on her way. Whispering a few words her attire changed. She now wore midnight black leather armor that felt like a second skin, with boots to match. Next to appear was an ebony bow along with arrows. Without stopping she placed her hair into a high ponytail and began to braid it. Once she was finished the end of the braid stopped at her waist. Halting her stride Ayla glanced over her shoulder looking back at Moonshadow. Just waking up Ayla hoped that she would've had more time to enjoy the peace. Unfortunately there is a job she must do. Ayla was about to leave but her shoulder was nudged. Letting out an 'oof' sound, she turned to see her faithful stallion Soren. Chuckling she rubbed his nose, "Hello Soren. Did I forget something?" Seeing Soren nod his head he turned to his side showing her cape. Shaking her head with a smile, Ayla grabbed it and put it on, "Thank you Soren." Placing a kiss on his nose she left.
A portal appeared out of thin air, and Ayla walked through it, with it closing behind her. Taking in the night sky Ayla pulled her hood over her head, and the first thing she could smell was...
Blood.
