Nepeta :33 FURRever.

Darkness hung thick in the air, it almost felt like a moving, breathing thing, closing in on the poor girl. Darkness was commonly associated with evil things and danger. Tonight was no exception. She had crawled into darkness, lept out of darkness and been caught in darkness. When she was thrown at the wall, her vision had been nothing but darkness for a moment. It had cleared, but now she was huddled in the dark, gripping the top of her now deceased moirail.

There was no light for her eyes to reflect and nobody to help her.

In hindsight, the decision to jump out of the vent was foolish. Nepeta was a great hunter but she failed to see one thing from behind the grate.

Gamzee Makara was dead behind those eyes. She wondered if it was like that all the time and she just couldn't see it because of the stoners glaze and the painted smile. But no, it seemed there was something much darker about this Gamzee.

This realization hit her in the face when he caught her wrist midair. She had tried to collapse on the floor but his killer grip on her wrist wouldn't allow it. Her anger had disintegrated when he'd looked her straight in the eye and smiled, starting to drag her claws across his face, Her stomach had churned when he'd stopped, she had felt the tips scrape the skull beneath. Her claws coming away with purple blood and face paint clumped on the ends. He'd smiled again, his eyes never wavering , when with one quick flex, a crack was heard and her wrist was broken. The horror of it all came straight away but the pain came later, after he'd released her wrist.

For a moment they'd stared at eachother. Her in a mix of shock, disbelief and confusion. Him in…something she couldn't put a definite name too. In that moment he wasn't looking crazy or angry or even stoned. He looked at her with the look of somebody who'd lost, somebody that was lost. He looked downright sad. And if Nepeta wasn't mistaken he was looking at her adoringly? Caringly?...Lovingly? He gripped her chin softly and Nepeta felt she had missed out on something.

But it was only a moment and moments end quickly. Before long he was dead eyed again and he swung a juggling pin into the side of her head, sending her crashing to the floor a few feet away. The combined pain of a broken wrist and what must've been a cracked skull made for one killer headache.

So here she was now, huddled against her protective moirail that could no longer save her. Here she was, with a darkness so deep that she couldn't see the olive blood dripping down her face and onto his collarbone.

A darkness so thick she couldn't even see him creeping up behind her.

AN: Is this counted as Sadstuck? Horrorstuck's a thing right? I tried to put feels in here, but it's mainly just moider! I'm a Nepzee shipper but I'm also a fan of GamTav which is easier (I steadfastly refuse to say pb+j) so I tried to sprinkle that in. Tell me if you'd like to see more like this! I'm thinking of making an Equius one.

Nepeta :33 Reviews can lead me out of the darkness!
