Lucy knocked on the motel room door, her light brown hair tied back in a pony tail. Her red and black plaid shirt was wrinkled and she looked overall disheveled. A taller man who she automatically recognized open the door. The tracking spell had worked.
"How are you going to run off and leave us and turn your phone off? Do you know what kind of Hell I went through to get here?," she asked, obviously annoyed, "I haven't slept in three days and had to steal two different cars in hopes you hadn't left the area yet."
Sam just blinked at her, "I uh...Do...I know you?"
The 16 year old girl just stared at him in disbelief, "Seriously? I'd sure hope so, Einstein. For the past 16 years!"
Dean walked up behind his brother and looked at the girl, "What's goin' on here?"
"Oh! Perfect, you were in on it too," she muttered, "Freakin' perfect."
The two men looked obviously confused, "You uh have us mixed up with someone else...is there someone I can call for you or something?"
Lucy stared at the two, they weren't kidding. "You...really have no idea who I am?"
Sam shook his head, "No...should I? Have we met before?"
"I...," she squeezed the bridge of her nose and closed her eyes, what was going on here? "I'm havin' a rough time. I woke up in some woods, my brother's missin' an I just don't know what's going on."
"Did you call the police? How'd you even find us?," Sam asked her.
"Pretty sure the police don't want to hear about the werewolves we were runnin' from," Lucy spat, "I used a tracking spell tryina find my dad, but instead I get a couple of idiots who apparently don't know me."
"There's no way you were runnin' from werewolves, you'd be dead," Dean said, "Why would we know you?"
"Bless your little heart, De," Lucy said sarcastically, "We were runnin' and there was this red light and I was in Iowa...from Maine."
The two brothers looked at each other, "Uh...come in." Sam thought he might've known what was going on now that he thought about it.
The young teenager came in and they all sat down around the kitchen table.
Dean eyed Sam who folded his hands, "Who...who are your parents?"
"Sam and Jessica Winchester," Lucy said, sitting back in her seat, folding her arms across her stomach.
Sam's face dropped as he looked at Dean. Dean looked at the girl, "Jessica Winchester?"
"Yeah...her name was Jessica Moore before they got married," she shrugged.
"Tell me more 'bout your parents then," Dean said, not buying into it.
"They met at college, Standford to be exact," Lucy started off, "Dad and mom were both lawyers. Dad actually got a full ride, mom was always so proud of him. Eventually they got married and I was the first born. They named me Lucile Marie Winchester, but everyone calls me Lucy. Then, 4 years later they had my brother, Dean Henry Winchester." She smiled for a minute then sighed, "Then...mom died. Dad kinda went off the deep end."
"How...how did she die?," Sam finally spoke.
"She was uh," she took a deep breath, "She was killed by a demon in my brother's nursery."
"Yellow eyes?," Dean asked.
She nodded, "Yeah...We got out, dad hit the road with us after the funeral, the rest is history."
"How's this possible?," Dean asked, confused. "Jessica here died...Sam didn't finish law school."
"Dean...Jack," Sam said, looking at his brother, "He ripped that hole in reality. She's not from here, she's from another universe."
Lucy frowned, "Who's Jack?"
"A nephilim...it's complicated," Dean said, sitting back, "So...where was your father and brother?"
"I dunno," she shrugged, "Dad left over a month ago an' said he'd be back in a few days, a week tops. He never showed back up, so we went lookin' for him. Ended up runnin' into these werewolves. Though, it was weird. Silver bullets didn't hurt 'em, silver arrows didn't hurt em, even aconitum didn't help."
"How did you all get away?," Sam asked her.
"Like I said, we took off runnin' after nothin' worked...there was that red light, woke up in Iowa," she shrugged, "If it wasn't for that light, I'd probably be dead. 'm just hopin' Dean's okay. I needa find him."
"Can't you track him down?," Sam asked, "The same way you did us?"
She shook her head, "I don't have all of the right stuff for the spell. I barely had everything for the one to find you all."
"Write a list of things you need," Dean said, "I'll get 'em and try to get ahold of Cas to see if he could help." He handed her his phone for her to type everything she needed in. For once, everything felt like it was going to be alright. However, she still didn't understand it all and didn't trust the men before her. However, if she could play along and get them to help her find her brother, it would be worth it.
