I hold my elven daughter, Lily's, hand.
"Mama why are the people fighting?,"she asks pointing to Orsino yelling something.
"Fenris take Carver and Bethany until Anders stops shopping please," I hand the baby boy to Fenris. Not waiting for a reply I take off running.
"Meridith would have herself take over the city will you let her do so,"
I shake my head. Bloody idiots. Meridith comes strolling in a few templars behind her including Carver. While they argue I cue myself in.
"The way you two fight, people will talk," hoping my witty comment will help the stress.
"Here's the Champion, Orsino lets see what she thinks," the blond night commander looks at me with a mixture of respect and hatred. "Maybe I could remind you what your people did to her Mother!,"
"You cannot blame all mages for the death of one!," he says making anger bubble up.
"I can blame who I bloody want Orsino. Meridith is right," I here a snicker then a growl. Fenris and Anders.
The Grand Cleric steps in and solves the problem while I sneek away to see my Brother.
"Siding aginst your own kind?," he smirks.
"I need you to meet some one," I say.
"Another boyfriend?," he mocks.
"Your an Uncle to some one new," I smile.
"Meet Andrew, after Father," I say taking the baby from Anders' angry arms, he's most likely mad at me for letting Fenris hold him. I hand the new born child to Carver who takes him gently into his arms. "I remember when you were that big Carver you were so tiny and harmless. Now look at you big mean old Templar," I harass my Brother.
He gives me a dirty look, "Big old mean Templar, huh? Big old mean Sister."
"Wow no joking with you? I guess you should lighten up a bit or I should... naw thats not going to happen sorry Carver."
He hands Andrew back to me as Meridith begins to leave after talking with the Grand Cleric, "Nice seeing you Sis, it's been a while."
Watching him leave and Lily walks over to me, "Why is Uncle Carver a Templar?"
I try to smile but, it's weak. "'Cause Mommy made a mistake..." Sighing I mutter,"A big one." Anders gives me a concerned look. "I've got a surprise that Varric has Anders could you take these to home so I can go to Lowtown?" I hand Andrew to Anders.
"Sure," he looks slightly displeased as he turn around and heads for home. Fenris starts to leave but I stop him.
"Can you stay with me, Fenris?"
"Um.. sure Ara'na," he looks surprised.
"Thank you. You know i'm not the biggest fan of Lowtown." I smile a little. It's not been the same between us since he left that night three years ago. I push the thought I can't even think about that now. I head down the bridge between Hightown and Lowtown.
