The sun was rising signaling a new day, the light casted from it shining of the dew on the grass. A man stirred in his bed as the warm light hit his cheek. With a groan he gets up out of his warm bed and grasps for his glasses on the nearby nightstand. He misses them a few times before getting a good hold of them and adjusting them on his face. The man's bright blue eyes turned to look at the light that woke him from his slumber. "Hello sun, nice to see you too." He grins and gets set for his morning of work on the farm. He goes over his mental checklist of his morning routine.
Glasses… check
He moves over to his dresser and removes his old clothes to replace them with new ones. Although both the old clothes and the new ones looked practically identical, the tunic was a long sleeve shirt and it was a dark brown color with a few permanent stains on it while the pants where lose grey cloth material. Even the clean versions of the clothes still looked dirty but they still functioned.
New underwear… check… tunic… check… pants…
The tall blond's mental checklist was suddenly interrupted however by the sound of a dog barking franticly in the distance. He blinks at the sound and rushes out to see what would cause the dog to bark in such a manner. He runs through the large green fields of his land until he finally finds the creature, it barking at a cow.
Well, not much of a cow anymore; more like a cow's head and a large crimson stain in the grass. Beside it were four imprints in the ground from something very, very large. The man sighed and scratched his head.
"Damn it I do not need this today of all days. Stupid fucki.." His sentence was interrupted by a brunet man yelling for him and running towards him in a rather fast pace. He turned to him. "Oh hey, Toris."
"Alfred…" He pants out. "I heard Tony barking very loudly so I came over to see what could be the pro…" His sentence was cut short as his eyes widened at the sight before them. "Did a d..d.." Toris couldn't finish his sentence; a slight fear was keeping him from uttering that word.
"Yup," Alfred said as he looks back down at the blood of the cattle he raised with his own hands sense the creatures birth sat on the grass. "It's that damn dragon again."
So yah my first story on here. Yay! Sorry that is is so short though. I just wanted to kind of "test the water" and see what you guys think so far even though it isn't much. I hope you like this and the further installments I am going to make.
