A green flash struck Sirius straight in the chest. He staggered back, grin plastered on his face and fel through the veil. Remus Lupin didn't realise that his best friend had just been killed by the ruthless Bellatrix. It was Harry's heartbroken yell that made him whirl arorund. He only just saw Sirius fall through the veil. Remus was shocked. Surely, Siruis can't be dead? He just couldn't. Remus then saw Harry lunge for the veil, so Lupin quickly grabbed him and held on. Thought's went flying through his head. Memories...
How Sirius always used to mock James about his crush on Lily. How Siruis and James used to hide Lupin's homework, how they all used to sit by the lake... His two best friends, taken cruely away from him. Why? They didn't deserve to die? Lupin, was distraught.
Harry pushed Lupin away with such force, that he fell to the ground. He was dimly aware of Tonks picking him up and leading him away to the side, just sitting there and holding him. He was too shocked, upset. Mixed emotions ran through him, coursing through his veins. The adrenaline finally got to him, and he picked himself up and ran. Out of the dreaded veil room, out of the department of mysteries... He had to kill Bellatrix, he HAD to. He reached the large statue in the middle of the Minestry of Magic and stopped. The sight was chaotic, Dumbleore and Voldemort dueling, Bellatrix watching gleefully... Bellatrix! He was in perfect veiw, she was directly opposite him. One spell could end her life right there, and right now. One spell. He raised his wand, anger taking over when he stopped. He couldn't kill somebody. It wasn't like him. Surely the Order would find some way of dealing with her? He sunk to the floor again, out of vision in the shadows. And he wept.
