AN: Thanks to all the readers and especially my fellow Harry Potter roleplayers who complmented and helped improved my writing skills. I would also like to thank JKR herself, for creating a ponderous world in which Harry Potter and his compadres reside.

Draco lowered his book. Luna had entered the library with several rolls of parchment under her arm, quills and ink bottles littering her hands and a copy of The Quibbler tucked neatly under her other arm. Loony, Draco thought, chuckling to himself, what a nut. Draco rolled his eyes and continued only pretending to read, the words dancing around in front of him. Luna made her usual dreamy way over to an empty table and set everything down. She pulled out the chair and sat, clearly unaware that anyone else was here. Luna leaned over the parchment, dipped her quill in ink and began writing vigorusly, so that the scratching of the quill was so loud Draco couldn't hear himself think.

"Could you stop that?" Draco sneered, Luna looked over, her dreamy face being lit up by the torches and the moon out the window. "Stop what?" She asked.

"What are you writing anyways?" he asked, shutting his book.

"It's a report for Professor Hagrid. I chose Nargles," She replied dreamily.

Draco didn't bother doing his Care of Magical Creatures homework. He rolled his eyes, whatever Luna was going on about was rubbish. He continued to pretend reading.

Luna stood up, clearly unaware of Draco ignoring her, "They invade mistletoe," she said, pointing at the ceiling between them, where mistletoe just happend to be decorated for Christmas. Draco looked up, then at Luna.

Just then, Ginny and Harry entered. They stopped as Ron and Hermione followed in behind. After about a second, they all burst out laughing. "Wow... Draco and... Luna.." Ginny managed to say between giggles. Harry grinned broadly as Ron and Hermione toppled over laughing.

"I was simply telling Draco about Nargles," Luna said, her eyes drifting to Harry.

Draco stood up, "I would never date Loony." He strode out and walked down to the front doors and out into the grounds covered in a dream-like snow. Draco shivered as he a watched warm mist float from his mouth. Draco sighed, "Get a grip," he thought. He walked up the steps again and went to the Great Hall for dinner.

The next day or two, Draco was sitting once again clutching Quidditch Throughout the Ages when Luna came into the library, dropped her usual supplies on the table and began writing. Draco glared at her for a while until she looked over.

"Hi, Draco," she said happily, her blonde hair flowing on her back.

Draco walked over still holding his book, he sat down and read across from her. Draco seemed to be the only one shocked he went near her.
