A sequel to Ninety Days?!

No, you're not dreaming. This is the real thing :)

I decided to post the series here to commemorate the 6th anniversary of Ninety Days. Can you believe it that it has been that long? Me neither.

I know some of you might have already read this on my blog, but others might not. Regardless, I hope all of you will enjoy it the same.

Lastly, I'm deeply sorry for having neglected my stories. It was never my intention to do so. Alas, real life has always taken precedence over other matters. I hope you understand. While I can't promise to deliver regular updates, I can assure you that I will not stop writing, even if it will take me forever and a day ;)

Disclaimer: I don't own Candy Candy manga and all the characters in it, but the talented Kyoko Mizuki does. This fic is a product of my own twisted imagination and inspired by Mizuki's masterpiece. If any of the plots, specific scenes, or dialogues appears to be similar to that from another fic or story, it is purely unintentional and coincidental. 'Great minds think alike', after all.

The characterization in the fic is based on the Manga and not the Anime.

I would like to dedicate this story to everyone of you who have followed my stories while very patiently waiting for the elusive update to make its appearance. You're truly the best. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement. None of these stories would have existed without you.

Forever and a Day

(A sequel to Ninety Days)

Prologue

"Albert, will you still love me even when I'm no longer young? A frail, old woman with nothing but a single tooth inside my mouth, my head covered with scant and gray hair, my skin all wrinkly and dull. Will you love me still?"

"What has brought you to ask the question all of the sudden? Of course, I'll still love you, Candy. Nothing can change that. Not one person, not one thing. I'll love you the same as I love you in the present time."

"You mean, you'll love me forever?"

"No. Not only forever. I'll love you forever and a day."

Till next time
