Be it whether he was trying to come off as funny or not, there was always humor to be found in the Joker's texts.

Especially for Harley, who often found humor in even the most somber of places.

Sure, he never added any emojis or faces, but the texts often spoke for themselves when she read them back in her head.

Sitting in the back seat of a limo, with Frost at the wheel, Harley glanced down at the buzzing phone in her hand.

*Where are you?* It read.

Harley smiled deviously, and shook the blonde curls out of her face to better see the message. It wasn't often that Joker showed signs of missing her, let alone allowed it to be evident in a text, so with a quick tapping of her fingers on the LCD screen, she replied back with;

*On my way back home puddin'! ;)*

About a minute later she was met with;

*What the heck is that?* And then a whole spiel of messages were exchanged, back and forth, and back and forth.

*What?*

*That thing at the end of your message...*

*Oh! You mean this? ;)*

*Yeah...that*

*It's a smile Puddin'!*

*How is that a smile?*

*Ya tilt it sideways and it's a face winkin' at ya*

*Oh how clever...*

*Ya really mean that? ^_^*

*Ok stop it Harls*

*You got it ! ^_~*

*Don't make daddy mad...*

*Sorry Puddin' :(*

*Now what's that?*

*A sad face :(*

*...* A few long moments passed, and Joker hadn't replied.

*Puddin?*

Nothing, still.

*Puddin' talk to me!* she typed worriedly.

*Pu-* She was just in the middle of typing another text, when suddenly, her phone buzzed with a new message.

*Cut it out. Just get home. FAST. Or there will be Hell to pay...*

*Okay Puddin'...whatever you say*

*Do I detect sulking?*

*No...*

*Oh I think daddy does*

*Fine! I'm sulking! are you happy?*

*No. Now just come home.*

A few moments of silence and blank screens ensued, when suddenly...

*NOW*

Dang, she could never win with this guy, could she?

"Frosty," she said, glancing up from her phone at her and the Joker's go-to baddie in front of the wheel. "Make it snappy, puddin's in a mood again,"

She sighed and leaned her head against the back window.

What a party-killer.
