This is just a little one shot about George and Angelina's wedding. Yet another bit of fluff from me, but hey it's fun to write. Mildly on the sad side so f you are prone to tearing up you might want to have a box of tissues next to you, just in case!

Just in case you didn't know, I am not J K Rowling, nor am I affiliated with Warner Bros Studios or anyone else who owns the rights to anything, including the Harry Potter series. I am a mere Potterhead who wishes to share her Potterheadedness with like-minded Potterheads.

Angelina looked at her reflection as Katie fussed over her veil. This is it, she thought, her wedding day. She had imagined it before of course and not everything so far had gone according to her plan. When she was sixteen, she fell in love, when she was seventeen she finally did something about it. Now at age twenty-three she was getting ready to marry her first love's twin brother. She'd felt guilty about it for three years now. Is it really so wrong to look for comfort but find love? Would she love George if she didn't see Fred's eyes in his? Sometimes life is just a bit too complicated.

Katie, having finished fussing over the veil, proceeded to smoothing the dress. She could tell there was something on Angelina's mind and she knew exactly what it was. After an evening of indulging in a little too much Firewhiskey, Angelina had confessed all her doubts and fears about her upcoming wedding. Katie had tried to sooth Angelina but she knew her words had done no good.

Meanwhile a few rooms over Lee's eyes followed George as he paced the length of the room. Back and forth, back and forth.

'Something on your mind, George?' he asked.

'No, I'm fine. It's all wine and roses.' He answered.

'It's Fred isn't it?'

George stopped suddenly and looked at his best friend. He walked over to the bed and slumped down on it. 'Yeah, it's Fred' he admitted.

'You're worried about how he'd feel about you marrying Angelina?'

'They were together for a while, and now…' he gestured uselessly with his hand…'You don't think he'd be mad do you?'

'Honestly, if he were here right now I think he'd be happy.'

'Happy?' George asked

'Don't get me wrong; he'd still be torturing you. Saying that you'd stolen the love of his life and so on, but he wouldn't mean it.'

George laughed, he knew Lee was right. Why had he worried about it for so long? He took a long, calming breath. 'Ok, I'm ready.'

Minutes later George was standing at the altar waiting for Angelina to join him. He watched his two year old niece stumble down the aisle, proudly holding a small posy of flowers. Victoire was followed by her Auntie Ginny who took the little girl's hand when they reached the altar. Ginny gave her brother an encouraging smile as Katie walked down the aisle.

Suddenly it seemed as if the air had been sucked from the room as Angelina and her father started walking towards him. George's heart swelled as he saw her smiling face. As Angelina reached him he could have sworn he heard a voice whisper in his ear 'Take care of her for me Forge.'

Awww... wasn't that overly sentimental? And not even a mention of the Golden Trio. Was originally going to use Percy as the best man, but I thought Lee would be a better fit. Anyway... read a review guys.
