"Clary," I felt someone shaking me awake. I was sleeping in Jace's room in the institute.

"Clary," Jace whispered.

"What Jace?" I murmured sleepily.

"Clary I'm thirsty," he whined.

"So drink spit," I was so done with his antics.

"Contrary to popular belief, spit doesn't quench thirst." he retorted.

"Then go get the water yourself," I responded

"Okay," he got off of the bed and padded to the kitchen. I fell back asleep. A few minutes later I felt a warm pair of arms encircle me.

"Now can we go back to bed?" I asked.

"Yeah," he grinned at me, kissed me cheek and snuggled deeper into my shoulder. We fell asleep encircled in each other's embrace.
