The Rainbow-Haired Warrior Part 1:
Twist of Fate
He soars from the zenith of the ether
And lands with a crash on the ground below
He flies through the air, catching them unguarded
Dealing them a devastating blow
His hair is trailing, following his path
Like the shooting stars of the cosmos
The colors meld, twisting 'round his face
Dancing behind him as he goes
One after another he annihilates them
He demolishes all in his way
He keeps them down, they are no more
So ends another day…
He returns once more to fight the flood
And battles through the din
His rival falls in agony
To the whispers in the wind
His enemy is strong this time
It seems he's going to drown
Abruptly there's a twist of fate
His nemesis is down
The warrior has overcome
His overwhelming foe
He screams aloud and takes the leap
And spirals to the floor
With bone-crushing intensity
He lands upon the fiend,
Three stout blows; he's overcome
This minion of the deep…
Now every day that passes by
The warrior prevails
His lengthy locks wave zealously
Like multicolored tails
But then one day a spear is thrown
It lands deep in his gut
The warrior's been double-crossed
His eyes are squeezing shut
The pain he feels is prominent
'Tis etched upon his pate
He stands once more, defiant
Another twist of fate
But no, there's no escaping
He's assaulted from all sides
His friend is foe, his foe is fierce
He collapses from inside
His hair around him, in his eyes
He tries to make a stand
He vaults himself up high and far
His enemy nimble; he misses and lands
His fall from grace is heard afar
And then there is no sound
Three hard hits; the warrior
Lies lifeless on the ground
Far and wide the people cry
Then chimes a mournful bell
The people will remember the day
When the hardy warrior fell…
