A/N: So here is my first crossover and this is just to highlight Danny's life as a reluctant hero. And in the next cahpter it shows how Raven came to Amity and started to change Danny's view on the world. For better or for worse? That is yet to be seen.
Danny was just an ordinary 14 year old boy who only had to deal with high school bullies and mean teachers and living with his ghost hunting parents didn't make it any easier. And the fact that his parents were the laughing stalk of the town really made making friends hard for Danny.
Living with his ghost-obsessed parents since his birth, Danny Fenton had to put up with their crazy personalities that often traumatized him, as well as being forced to listen to his parents ramble about ghosts or instruct their children on how their ghost hunting gear worked. Sadly, this did nothing to stop Danny's curiosity that ended up changing his life forever.
While in his parents' laboratory one day, Danny had an accident involving the newly built "Fenton Portal", causing his molecular structure to be infused with ectoplasm. As a result, Danny Fenton became a half-human, half-ghost hybrid. He styles himself as a new persona as Danny Phantom, a superhero with a ghostly array of other-worldly powers; able to shift between the forms his human-half and his ghost-half at will, coming into a number of various supernatural/paranormal extraordinary abilities.
He had his powers for a full month, but didn't tell his family for fear of their reaction. He also has little control over his powers at this early stage. After a battle with the ghost of the evil Lunch Lady, Danny decides not to tell his folks (for fear of them rejecting him and treating him as just another ghost) and starts his long road of becoming a superhero to the people of Amity Park.
At first Danny didn't know what to do with his newfound powers and has trouble controlling them. But when a ghost called 'The Lunch Lady' starts destroying his school when they changed the lunch menu to serve vegetarian food to the students during a health kick. The Lunch Lady wants kids to eat meat not vegetables and turns herself into a meat monster and stuffing kids if they refuse. Sam, Danny's best friend and love interest, (HA! Things changeā¦) is a vegetarian, because of this she becomes a target of the lunch lady, so when she was in danger he decided to "Go Ghost" and save her using her powers. After they defeated the Lunch Lady Danny and his friends, Sam and Tucker, decided that it would continue as a superhero and defend Amity from ghosts.
Now life as a hero isn't as easy as it sounds, and trying to balance school and home while trying to defend the town makes it a whole lot tougher. Many times Danny was tempted to just stop and try to live a normal life. But he eventually pulled through these times and his developed sense of heroism urged him on through these tough patches. And, to add a point of knowledge, Danny will stop being the hero if he feels if he is not needed or wanted or remembered, or talked about, good or bad he wants acknowledgement. This was shown when Vlad Masters (An Arch Nemesis) was voted mayor of Amity and hired a new ghost hunting team call 'Masters Blasters', they were overfunded and took away the need for Danny, or so he thought. But Danny decided to get rid of powers the same way he did, through the use of the Fenton Portal at stage 1. After the painful experience, Vlad exposed his plan to take over the world. Danny would have been the only one to stop him, if he had his powers. So after a trip to the Ghost Zone and and he accidentally he got his powers back and was able to save the day. It was safe to say that this wouldn't occur again, Until now.
